"Aiden, it would be best for the both of us if you would let me go now." I suggested.

He only growled, still having his internal battle with his wolf.

I didn't move while he continued the battle for control.

I was about to go insane when my phone rang.

His wolf stopped trying to take over as I looked over at my bedside table to see the lit up screen of my iPhone.

"Will you let me go so I can answer that?" I asked.

He sighed and finally released me.

I walked over to my bed and grabbed my phone. I looked at the screen and answered it right away.

"Yes?" I asked.

"You two may come back down now. I have something I need to tell you." My mom said from the other end of the line.

"Yes ma'am." I replied.

I then hung up the phone and told Aiden what she told me.

He looked upset as we left my room and made our way downstairs.

Once we walked into the dinning room, the alpha told us to have a seat.

We sat down and my mom spoke up.

"I have to go on a trip for a few weeks, so I have asked the alpha if you can stay at the pack house while I am gone. He and the luna have both agreed." She said.

I stared at her in shock.

How could she do this to me? We just got here and now she is leaving me here?! To go where?! Why isn't she taking me with her?!

All these questions and more swirled around in my head.

"I only have three questions." I said after shaking the shock off.

She nodded while waiting for the questions.

"Where, why, and how long will you be gone?" I asked.

She sighed, "I can't give you the answers to the first two dear but I promise that I'll be back as soon as I can and as for how long, any where from a week to a month or two." she replied giving me a sad smile.

"When am I going to stay with them?" I asked.

"Your going to pack your things tonight and when you come home from school, you are going to grab any last minuet things and you will go straight there. I am going to leave as soon as I know you are safe and with them." She replied.

I just nodded and turned around to head back up to my room. Again.

Before I was out of ear shot, I heard Aiden's parents tell him to help me pack up my things so that they could take most of it to the pack house and get my rooom set up for me.

I didn't hear his reply but I soon felt him behind me.

I ignored him as I pulled a few boxes over to my closet and started throwing clothes in them from my closet. I then took out some shoes and jackets from my cabinet. I went into my bathroom and packed up the things that I wouldn't need for the next day and closed the boxes.

I was pretty glad that Aiden didn't try to pull anything because I really wasn't in the mood for it at the time.

He helped me carry the boxes downstairs and he put them in the vehicle.

I looked over at him and saw that he was looking at me.

I was starting to feel really selfconsious about myself around him. Him staring at me made me feel that I wasn't good enough to be his mate. The strangest part is that I'm not even sure I want to be his mate anyway.

'Don't you dare say that!' My wolf demanded.

'I'll say what i want to say and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it!' I retaliated.

'You want him just as much as I do and you know it!' She accused.

I ignored her after that because she was right. As usual.

I looked back up at him and he was still staring at me. He glanced at the door then was in front of me in a few seconds. He leaned down towards my ear. I could feel his hot breath on my neck as he spoke.

"I can't wait for you to come and stay at the pack house princess. I'll get to see you everyday for a while." He said.

He straightend up and I saw the smirk on his face.

"Who said that i wanted to see you?" I asked and turned towards the house.

Before I could even take one step forward he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into his chest.

I tried to pull myself free but he only pulled me closer.

He spun me around to face him and made me look him in the eyes.

"I've got news for you princess, you will be mine whether you want to be right now or not. I know ways to make you change your mind." He said.

"Oh yeah? Well I've got news for you too! Right now the only thing your doing is losing me." I replied.

He growled, "Why must you be so stubborn?!"

"Why must you be such an ass?" I retaliated.

He growled again, "You will learn your place mate, even if you must learn it the hard way."

He then leaned in towards my ear, "And trust me sweetheart, the hard way is a lot of fun for me but by the way you've been acting, the easy way is for you." He pulled back smirking.

I just glared at him too frustrated to say much of anyting.

Why does he have to be such an arrogent ass?
