sleep

It was a cold December night. A sleepover was being held at Teto's house, with most of her friends invited.

Rain looked up onto the ceiling, unable to sleep. Ruko and Ritsu were snoring as loud as hell, and unfortunately she was in between them. Giving out a quiet grumble she slowly rose from her spot, taking the blue blanket with her, wrapping it around her shoulders and walking away.

Immediately she noticed a streak of blue and white and she quickly hid behind a corner, quietly sighing with relief as the tall figure disappeared. So Matsu's awake too, huh?

"I know you're there, Rain."

"Holy—" she yelped when a pair of hands rested upon her shoulders. She instantly knew who it was. "Don't scare me like that, Matsu!"

Said boy only shrugged, reaching up a hand to ruffle her dark hair. "What are you even doing around at this time of the night?"

"Ruko and Ritsu were snoring too loud. How am I supposed to get the decency to sleep with their noise?" Rain exclaimed, it was a wonder no one heard them.

Matsu peered at her with his ruby red eyes squinting. "Hmm... I got an idea."

"What?" she asked with a nervous look on her face.

"Sleep with me."

Rain's face turned into a burst of red as she began to stutter. "E-eh?! What a-are you—"

"Idiot, I didn't mean it like that, geez. I meant that you can sleep with me and Ron, at least we don't make noise when we sleep." Matsu interrupted, giving the girl a flick on the forehead.

"Oh. I knew that!"

"Tch. Crazy girl." he shook his head with disbelief, and he grabbed her hand and started leading her towards his room.

"Make yourself comfortable." he gestured at the large bed in the middle of the room. As Rain sat down and laid on the mattress, she noticed something.

"Wait, I thought Ron was sleeping here with us?"

"Tch. He probably went to the bathroom, the idiot drank too many sodas."

She chuckled. "That guy." As soon as she was about to close her eyes she felt something lie down beside her.

"...Matsu?"

"Just go to sleep." he mumbled with an irritated tone, facing you with his signature stoic expression.

"Eh? But, you're, uh..." Rain tried to speak out the words. Giving an annoyed click of his tongue once more Matsu suddenly grabbed hold of the blanket around her and pulled her towards him.

"M-Matsu! Wh—"

"I said go to sleep, Rain." he cut in, burying his face on her hair and closing his eyes.

Rain sighed with defeat. "If y-you say so," she replied timidly, leaning onto his embrace and finally letting sleep overcome her.

I could get used to this.

Ron struggled not to squeal as he stared at the sight before him. His best friend, who was commonly considered to be cold towards others, was on bed with a girl in his arms.

He quickly fished out his phone and with a small click he took a picture. "Perfect blackmail material."
