It wasn't a tragic event really, but it couldn't help but upset Louis. The bookstore he would go to every day before he would go to work was out of business. He couldn't believe it. Was he the only one who bought books from them? It couldn't be possible.
With a heavy sigh Louis started heading back home with defeat. He stopped right in front of his flat and looked up at his window where Snuggles was. If Snuggles hasn't given up on me watering him more often, Louis thought, then I can't give up on my tradition.
Louis pulled out his phone to search for a bookstore nearby. It was a 7 minute walk, but Louis didn't care. This was important! So he walked those 7 minutes, panting as he found the door to the store, but he made it. He opened the door and was greeted by what Louis thought was the most beautiful boy he had ever seen. That's the moment green eyes met blue. The boy had curly brown hair that was long and looked so soft. Louis would be ashamed to admit that he wanted to ran his fingers through the stranger's hair. Louis then focused on his eyes and wow.. they were extraordinary. Green! Screamed at Louis as he stared at them. They weren't just green, Louis thought. It was an emerald color green, but when the light would hit them they would turn a whole different shade. This boy.. he was something.
"Hello!" The boy exclaimed. "Welcome to Eternity Books, if there's anything you need please let me know." He gave Louis a genuine wide smile.
Louis shyly went to the back and picked a random book. Even if there was a handsome man that had strained his mind with wild thoughts Louis would never admit to, he would keep his tradition. He walked to the counter where the boy sat in a chair.
"The Great Gatsby?" The not hummed. "Nice choice. Fitzgerald was a peculiar fellow."
The boy handed the book back and announced the price, but Louis didn't reply. The boy looked up to meet a very upset Louis.
"You ruined it! I wasn't supposed to know what I bought!" Louis huffed, placed a $10 bill in the counter and stormed off. Not before grabbing the book from the stranger's hands.
Louis made the 7 minute walk into a 4 and a half. He got home, gave Snuggles water, ate, and went to lay on his bed. He didn't even want to read the book. Stupid boy. Stupid bookstore. Then Louis had an idea. He was going to write a review.
Louis opened up the bookstore online and saw it had not one but ten reviews. Weird.. it didn't seem like a well known store. Louis shook it off and began to read them.

Alex was so dreamy! Definitely worth the drive.Louis furrowed his eyebrows. Alex? Who is that?

Great selection of books but also great selection of staff.Alex was the boy? Louis was even more confused. He didn't look like an Alex.. more like a Henry or Edward.

I bet his di-Louis turned off his phone at that, not wanting to get scarred. With a heavy sigh and change of position, Louis drifted off to sleep. Dreaming of a boy, a war, and a curse.
