As I reach the cafe I stop to catch my breath. I walk in and look for her, but she isn't here. My face gets a bit gloomier. Aurora calls me and I break out of it and walk over to her. She holds out a piece of paper. I look at her confused tasking the paper.

"What's this?" She smiles.

"Look at it." I read it and I smile. She wants to talk to me the next time we meet.

"Congrats." Aurora smiles and I see Brent walk behind her to start cleaning the sink.

"Thank you so much." I say, running out of the cafe before taking a taxi home.

Once I walk in, I hang up my jacket, put down my bag and sit on my couch, re-reading the letter. She liked my poem. I think of what I will say over and over again the next time I see her. I smile and get into the shower. I do my daily hygiene routine and then I go to my bed to read some philosophy books. I eventually fall asleep and the next morning I wake up excited to go to the cafe.

As I enter, I see Aurora and I smile. "I'm going to talk to her today. She runs her hands through her hair and doesn't look at me.

"You're too late." I look at her confused. I laugh.

"What are you talking about?" She looks over my shoulder and I look where she is looking to see Brent, that guy from before talking to her. She smiles brightly. I look at them together and my heart hurts. "Oh.....Well, I guess I tried."

I don't look at Aurora and I just walk outside the cafe. She calls for me from behind but I don't even look back. I leave the cafe and walk, not thinking about where I'm going. I guess I wasn't the only who was writing to her. She was probably happy it was him.

I enter the cafe to see Aurora and I smile.

"Hey," She smiles at me. "How are you, Rachel?" I take out my wallet.

"I'm great. Can I get a bagel and Chai tea, please? " She smiles and starts to make my tea. She hands me my food and I hand her the money. I walk to my usual seat; I like it because I have a view of the door but it's still a comfortable spot. I take out my sketchbook and start to eat. As I start to eat, I hear a voice.

"Hey." I look up to see the guy from before the tall blonde guy with icy blues eyes. I smile.

"Hi, nice to finally meet you." He smiles.

 "May I sit?" I nod.

"Of course." he sits down.

"So how long have you been coming here for?" I put down my pen.

"Well probably a couple days, now. What about you?" He smiles.

"A couple of months, now; I work here." I observe the way he talks.

"You're a really good poet," I say smiling.

"Thanks." He says, leaning back. He is giving me a different vibe than what I would expect from the guy in the letter.

I glance up to see the other guy and he looks at me and then leaves. He has a look of un-interest. I continue my conversation with the guy.

"Sorry, I didn't catch your name, I'm Rachel," I say holding out my hand. He holds it and kisses.

"Brent, babe." I giggle at him. We start to talk and get to know each other when I get a message from Jade.

"Stop flirting with your boyfriend and let's go. We have to practice the new pieces for tomorrow night. I laugh and look up.
