This story is "accurately" based on real life events, with names being altered so as to protect the privacy of the people that may or may not be involved in the story.
To be honest, I don't really know why I am doing this but i guess this is what i will call a "narrative diary".
We all have read romantic stories, have laughed over them, have admired the close bond that the two main characters share in the story, and even secretly wished that one day - we will attain that ever lasting, happy ending - the one where you end up with that person you have always wanted to be with, that one guy/girl that you always had a crush on.
I have always thought that love was something that was smooth-sailing, a ride on a glass surface rather than a ride on a chalky, turbulent waters. I thought that as long as you were ready to give your heart to that one person, that one person will definitely open his arms and accept your feelings, and hug you tight, as if you are that one and only precious thing in the world, that ever mattered to him.
Well, turns out I had a huge misconception.
Love was never that easy and will never be.
Everyone is bound to face heartbreaks, to go through them, to live through them and even walk away from that one person who you thought was going to be "the one" that you were going to live in a castle with, "the one" you will kiss and say good night to before going to bed every day, "the one" you will grow old and die with.
It was not only until I met him, when I realized this startling fact, that there are some things that you cannot be instantly gratified with.
The first time I met him was 2 years ago.
"+930 123 4908271" was added into the chat.
"+930 283 1023948" was added into the chat.
I stared at my phone, glanced at it and put it down.
Now that I think about it, the me two years ago would have never thought that this guy that was added into the chat, would actually become a guy that mattered so much to me right now, the guy that could easily make my day a bright sunny day or a living hell. At that time, he was just a random number on my phone, a random friend of a friend, someone that would never be part of my life.
However, that all changed last Christmas.
