(IM BACK!!!)-Author
I woke up to the noise of small steps coming towards us. I woke up Jake and told him someone was here. The sun wasnt out yet and it was as cold as Atlanta. My memories dont fail with the present.
[Whispers]
Jake: Probably the owner of this place... Or you know...
Mia (me): crap...
I went to check and I heard child's laughs. A shadow of a small girl would appear on each corner of the gas station, so I went to tell Jake that we needed to escape, but before I knew it, he was no longer Jake.
I saw Faith taking Jake from his neck. Faith had black eyes and was screaming while bleeding. Soon, Jake's body was gone, but a male doll.
I stepped back in fears, hoping to get away. I realized it was too late when Faith and that doll said hi.
Faith: Aren't you're going to welcome us to your hotel?
Unknown: Thank you for inviting us. Don't be surprised, treat your guests as real guests!
Mia (me): What did you do to Jake!?
[Chuckle]
Faith: Not only Jake, look behind you!
I turned around to see someone in a black cloth, with an axe, the same one that Faith used the day she looked for me.
Faith: Isn't Peter so nice?
I better of knew it before. She's playing dirty but I'm making it. I took a step back but I felt a heavy breath, so I stood there. I closed my eyes waiting for a bright idea to pass by my mind. And this is all I thought about.
Me: Fine, ill give up if you stop harming the people that surround me.
Faith: Good girl. Come here.
She pats my head with that plastic cold hand covered in fresh blood and dry dirt.
Faith: Dont you escape or you will fade.
Me: what?
She grabs my hair and make me slowly look at her.
Faith: Dont make me repeat again. Im not a voicemail.
Should I just laugh or think about how rude was it?
She wasnt joking.
We both headed to the exit and then she said.
Faith: Escape.
Me: what?
Faith: Go. I still havent completed my mission.
I was confused. What did she meant by that?
I was shaking. The cold shivers looked through my skirt. And my warm breath almost calmed me down. I looked through Faith's dolly eyes, she looked serious. She wasnt joking now, she was very serious.
DEAD serious.
So i ran. I ran to North East of what I could tell whenever I remembered the only small skills my father would teach me when I was 4. One of the stars up there was him, the biggest one this night, looking at me with a careful smile on his face. Or a sad smile. Or whatever I could think about the circumstances. And that star was leading me to the North East, where he wanted me to go.
I was tired, because i almost could sleep all because of that nightmare i had last night. Its the one that stands out from all of them, and calls for my attention. And i dont need more trouble but my curious-ass wants to know what the hell was that. What did it mean.
Why would my father want me to go there.
Why would Faith just let me go.
These questions danced in my head while my feet kept running until nowhere. And it was headed soon to where I almost thought of it looking too familiar.
Because i knew what or where this was but wasnt sure about it. How can I be here again? Did i run out on circles? No. This cant be.
