Chapter-7

Dane pov

Her accepting the assignment of protecting me , some how brought happiness to me. May be it is because I know that I could see her daily. Small smile came to my lips thinking about it. My thoughts were put to stop when she asked me the address of my house.

I told her that my driver would pick her instead. She gave me her address and left the room without giving me a bye . She gave it to Jackson completely ignoring that I too was present at that room. I felt a small sting in my heart. I don't know why her actions are bothering me.

Putting aside my all thoughts l left Jackson after my goodbyes. A lot of work was waiting for me in the office to be done

I groaned my self thinking about it . Jerry my driver dropped me at my office building. I was greeted by my staff on my way to office. I asked my secretary to give me a reminder by 4.30pm and also for jerry to pick Raichel from her apartment.

I was engaged myself in work to forget about the time elapsed . My secretary reminded me about me picking Raichel.
I asked her to transfer only necessary calls to me when I am away. Down the building Jerry was already waiting for me in the car . I got in and left to her place.
After reaching her place I rang the bell.
The door was opened by Raichel. I gave her my famous smirk. She was stunned to move.  It was clear as ice that she was not expecting me there.
"You know it's rude to keep the guest outside" I said laughing.
I earned a glare from her  but still she opened the door wide for me to step in.
Her apartment was small but cozy. Neatly kept and it had a homely atmosphere.
"El, did they came..........." I saw a blonde running towards her. She stopped her ranting seeing me.
She introduced herself as Jean a close friend of Raichel. I introduced myself.

After a small conversation I asked Raichel whether she is ready to leave the house. She just simply nodded.
She turned to Jean and hugged her tightly " Jean I am going to miss you"

"What's there to miss I am only few minutes away from here. Don't be a drama queen"
She chuckled at her friends answer.
After saying good bye we both left her house to mine.

Inside the car she just ignored me by just looking outside the window.
I just left her to her thinking and did my calls.
After reaching my house, Jerry opened the door of the car. I walked outside and offered her my hand . She got outside the car ignoring my hand.
Without speaking any thing I walked to the entrance of my house.
She was baffled. "You should really close your mouth or something might fly in" l laughed at her .
She just smiled lightly at her embarrassment.

"Wow, Is this your house ?"
"Yeah,that is"
" This is not a house but a freaking mansion . And that too a big one!" She said like a happy child who got her favourite candy.
The door was opened by my butler Thomas.
"Welcome back Master Dane and Miss........"
" Thomas , this is Miss Raichel Watson . And Miss Watson , this is my butler Mr. Thomas John"
