Monica's Pov
My alarm went off and now I'm super nervous, it's time to see if I fit in or not. I'm not worried bout these messy hoes and drama ! This is school so I can learn .. I don't have time to be messing up my future.
I pull the covers off of me and get up out of my bed and into my bathroom, as I start brushing my teeth and cleaning my face my niece runs into the bathroom scaring the crap out of me and hugging my leg.
"Ahhhh" I kinda whispered. "Miyah why are you up so early princess go lay down" I said to her while rinsing out my mouth. "No" she said in a whining voice and running into my room and jumping on my bed. I ignored her and started to curl my hair , I'm not sure what I'm going to wear but I'm going to look poppin. I walk into my closet and see this cute outfit (in the pic above) I put it on and put my lip gloss on and grabbed my purse and made my way down the stairs. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of me sticking my tongue out with the caption "good morning streaks ! Time to start a new chapter" all my friends started to replay it and say they miss me. I sat down and started to eat the breakfast my mom left for me, she left early because she had to meet up with her clients. She did leave a note for me though
"Monica baby you're growing up and becoming so beautiful. I love you with everything in me, I know it's hard to start over and meet new people and make new friends.. I just need you to hang in there and try your best to be nice because sometime your attitude is on 1000. Have a great day my love! I love you and text me and put me on about everything gangsta :)" I laughed at that because my mom tries so hard to talk like my siblings and I . I looked at the clock and it was time to go . I live right next to the school so I'm going to walk.. I grabbed my water bottle and left the house.
I'm walking with my head down, thinking of allll the things that can go wrong . I'm so nervous but i will get through this . While walking to school my father called me and It made my whole day so much better.
I answered the phone all cheesy and happy
Drake (Dad) : hey princess ! It's your first day of school how are you feeling ?
Me : dad I'm supper nervous and I'm not sure why .
I said talking super duper fast .
Dad: woah kid slow down *laughs* I'm sure you're going to have a lit ass day . I'm proud of you and I'm so happy to have you as a daughter ! I love you !
Me: I love you too pops! I miss you so much please come to Cali soon! But I'm here now dad I have to go
Dad: I will see you soon baby girl. Good bye ! But make sure you calm down. I love you
*We hang up*
I sighed and looked up at the school. I'm completely lost, not sure where to go. I'm looking at my schedule and this girl tapped me .
I looked at her "yes" I said with a smile.
"Hey I'm River Bleu , you look kinda lost love and I'm here to help you with everything you need".
Me: thank you so much
River: what do you need help with ?
Me ; can you please show me where are my classes?
River : sure *grabs her schedule and starts walking off* okay so you have gym first period
Me : yuck that's gross . *makes a face*
River: honestly *laughs & walks to gym*
Me : I hope I like it here *looking around*
River : you'll love it *at the gym* here , this is the gym the bell is going to ring so I have to go. But I hope you have a good day *smiles and walks off*
