Lily's point of view:
I'm so excited! Finally i'm moving out! Currently i'm living in Canada but i'm moving to Berkshire, England. To be exact, i'm moving to a small town called Bracknell but i'm going to a school in one of the neighbouring towns. My whole life i've been bullied and i just can't wait for that to stop. Maybe they'll accept me in england?

mum: hurry up Lily
! we're going to be late for the plane!
i finish packing my bags and hurry down the stairs.
Lily: i'm ready Mum!
i hear dad packing the suitcases into our car and then i remember about my phone. it's still charging in the kitchen. i quickly grab it and then get into the car

—30 minutes later—
we arrive at the airport and everyone takes their belongings with them. I just can't believe this is happening! i've always wanted to live in England. it seems so cool. i hope the kids there won't judge me. we wait for our plane to arrive and when it finally does, we get on without hassle. i sit next to Tom and mum. then i fall asleep

—In England—
Tom nudges me and wakes me up. i look out of the window and see a cloudy sky. is it always like this in england? i hope not because it being summer, i only bought short-sleeved clothes with me. my thoughts are disturbed when we are told that we can get off. i stand up, stretch, and walk off the plane.

dad: oh how i missed good ol' England!
mum: me too. i can still remember moving to Canada 10 years ago. time has gone by so fast!
while mum and dad are still nattering, i get Tom to come inside the airport with me. it's so cold and i can't stay outside anymore. i see our suitcases and run off, pulling them off  the baggage carousel. my family take their things and then we get inside a taxi. my dad tells them the street name and that's when the driver starts the engine. i get my book "Stella" by Helen Eve out of my bag and read the whole way. sometimes, i look up to admire the views but there aren't much as we're on a motorway.

—when they arrive—
mum: John, help the kids unpack! i'll turn the gas and water on.
dad: right at it Harriet.
i stare at the house in awe. it's so big and we have so many neighbours! i notice a smell of freshly cut grass coming from my left. that's when i notice a boy, of my age, staring at me.
