Percy POV

I was casually strolling around Camp Half-Blood with my two best friends, Jason and Nico. The Giant war ended a month ago. I was in a steady relationship. Nothing could go wrong right? But then the dreams came. I had to share this with them. They had to know. I mustered my courage and said "Guys? I need to tell you something." They both stopped and looked at me. "Sure bro, what is it?" Jason was always calm. He was the bro you needed in your life. Nico was like the adorable little brother. We were super tight, and I knew they had to know about my dreams. "I've been having dreams. They're like flashes of scenes. I see Olympus in flames, Camp crumbling to dust, and us three stood above it. This voice keeps saying 'It's time'." I had a similar dream too" Jason said confused. Nico nodded in approval. "I know what it means". We both look at him expectantly. "We need to follow in our parent's footsteps. We must overthrow the Olympians". We both looked at him shocked. Then Jason's face turned to steely determination. I felt confused. I had sacrificed so much for Olympus. I had a good life here. Why would I willingly start a war? But they both looked at me expectantly. "Just, g-give me some time to think" I stammered. "I swear on the Styx I won't share this conversation behind your backs. I just need some time". "Sure thing bro. Tell us when you make up your mind. I'm not sure about it either. My gut is telling me it's the right course. I won't pressure you. see ya!". With that, he walked off to his cabin, Nico walking after him. Nico didn't  say much. Just "Take your time" before leaving. I decided to walk around camp to clear my head.

-----------------------------------------Time Skip of Destiny------------------------------------------------------------

It's been a few weeks since our conversation. Nico and Jason never brought it up. Even the dreams stopped. The message was obvious. It was all on me. I was walking along the beach when I heard a beautiful sound. It was Annabeth's voice. I started to walk towards it then stopped when I heard what she was saying. "I'll break up with him tomorrow, then we'll be official." What? Who was Annabeth talking to? "Sure thing babe" came the voice I recognized. It was the voice that had praised me as a hero so many times. The voice I had longed for during my childhood. The voice of my father. The voice of Poseidon.

I looked and saw the two. They were making out. I was furious. How could Annabeth do this to me? I had done so much for her. Walked across TARTARUS for her! Why would she do this. At first I thought  it was maybe a trick of the mist. But that was a blatant lie. My fury began to boil over. Then the fury hardened into a cool determination. I thought to Nico's words. 'It's time to overthrow the Olympians'. If that little slut wanted to sleep with my father then fine. That night at dinner I told Jason and Nico to meet me by Zeus' Fist. "So, you made up your mind?" Jason asked. His eyes told me he'd be happy whatever I said. "I'm in" I said. With those words, wind picked up. It smelled of sulphur. Then the voice from the dream spoke to us. 'Good choice heroes. Olympus will be yours eventually. When you believe the time is right, go to the empire state building. When you arrive, an army will be at your back.'  and the wind and sulphur subsided. Nico looked at us with a hungry gleam in his eyes. It looked so natural there. We would win this war.

--------------------------------------------Time Skip of Destiny-------------------------------------------------------

It was time. We marched from camp half-blood, and with each step, a monster trailed behind us. Dracenae, hell hounds, laistrogonian giants, you name it. It was an impressive army. Then the camps attacked. Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter against us. We were close to winning, so so close, but then the Olympians intervened. Of all the times! Our army was turned to dust. We were bound and dragged before the Olympian council. As we passed the hearth, I saw Hestia. She seemed to look at us approvingly. Then she disappeared into the hearth. Zeus stared angrily down at Jason, while Poseidon looked at me with disappointment, but a hint of victory. He had Annabeth all to himself. Hades, while not strictly part of the council, was present, and looked disdainfully down at Nico. The one who got us into this mess. Zeus spoke. "Enemies of Olympus, hear our judgement!"
