Hey! So most of you said you would like for these to be separate stories, so I have made a separate oneshots book for the Hamilton cast. I hope you enjoy.

Also, a quick lil announcement. I'm changing my username today instead of tomorrow. So if it's different, at least you'll know why. And, I am pleased to announce two more things.

1) I will be doing a face reveal very soon, which leads to number 2.

2) I have an Instagram, and on top of that, you may submit any fanart that you have made or taken, just make sure to give credit where it's due. My Instagram name is alexstartwriting, follow if ya want. You can dm me if you have fanart, requests, or if ya just want to talk. Anyway, enjoy.

Third Person POV

It was a normal show, everything was as it was supposed to be. And no one had fucked up. At least, not yet.

Daveed and Lin loved doing the cabinet battles because every time they did it, they changed their choreography slightly. They did this to make it interesting, and often times it made each other laugh, as well as the audience. Sometimes Lin would jump up and down at his part, othertimes he would get right in Daveed's face, or rather, right below Daveed's face. Lin was kinda short... Compared to Daveed and Oak that is. Daveed often had a slight bounce in his knees when he rapped, a subconscious habit of his.

Act two was Daveed and Lin's favourite, because despite the depressing ending, the first little bit was exciting, and fulfiling. "What'd I Miss" seemed to be Daveed's favourite. He adored the upbeat, jazzy music and the crazy yet fitting choreography. As well, he loved the costume he adorned for the first two songs Thomas Jefferson is in. The dark purple velvet combined with the long, magenta coat. It was a fun outfit to wear. He later changes into a more brownish, shorter outfit for the remainder of the musical.

And so here they were, act two. Daveed had a smile on his face the entirety of "What'd I miss."

Now the fun begins...

Daveed walks to the front of the stage, the ensemble pack together behind him as the music finishes with a final beat.

"So what'd I miss?"

He took a few deep breaths. The music changed and they got into position. Daveed walks to the left side of the stage (From the audience point of view) and Lin to the right. Oak stands behind Daveed, and Chris walks into the middle.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, you could've been anywhere in the world tonight but you're here with us in New York City. Are you ready for a Cabinet meeting huh?"

Daveed and Lin glare at each other.

"The issue on the table, Secretary Hamilton's plan to assume State debt and establish a national bank. Secretary Jefferson, you have the floor sir."

Daveed smiles and with no hesitation walks forward a few steps toward Lin.

"Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, we fought for these ideals we shouldn't settle for less. These are wise words enterprising men quote 'em," he turns to the audience, pride dripping from his voice. "Don't act surprised you guys cuz I wrote 'em."

He looks back at Hamilton with a sassy glare.

"Ow, but Hamilton forgets, his plan would have the government assume State debts. Now, place your bets as to who that benefits, the very seat of government where Hamilton sits." He hisses.

"NOT TRUE-"

"Oh if the shoe fits, WEAR IT. If New York's in debt, why should Virginia bear it? Uh our debts are paid I'm afraid, don't tax the South, cuz we got it made in the shade." He looks back and winks at Oak, then looks back at Lin. "In Virginia, we plant seeds in the ground, we create! You just wanna move OUR money around. This financial plan is an outrageous demand, and it's too many damn pages for any man to understand."
