"Get out of the vehicle, please." The cop ordered.

"I'm sorry, officer, but I don't know what I've done wrong! What did I do?" I asked again.

"Sir, if you don't get out voluntarily, I'm gonna have to make you." The police officer continued with the same stance he's been giving. I'm sure his facial expression has been the same as well, but I couldn't tell, because he had his flashlight placed directly in front of his head. All I saw was a bright light. A light that shined so hard that I couldn't even think straight.

I opened up my door slowly and got out, hands placed firmly on the back of my head. I could feel my heart bump fast as I fell to my knees a foot away from the officer, whose stance was still the same as it had been when he knocked on my window.

While the officer just stared at me silently, a noise disrupted the sound vacuum about 20 feet away. Another cop walked us in a brisk, sleek walk. While he looked similar to Officer Meanie over here, his face was the opposite - his face was darkened by the shadow cast by his hat. Two mysterious cops , one defenseless civilian. What did I even do?

When the two officers met up, they didn't speak . They just looked at me. One of their stomachs growled. What did I even do?

                    "Stand up," Officer Meanie ordered.

                    I obliged, without question.

"Sit down," The other officer ordered.

I obliged, falling straight to the ground without question.

                    "What's 2 + 2?" Officer Meanie asked.

"4," I mumbled out. What did I even do?

The second cop pulled his fists out and punched me, cold in the jaw.

"No, it's 5!" He hollered strictly. I had no idea why he was angry. I didn't do anything.

"What is 2 + 2?" Officer Meanie asked again.

"5!" I yelled, flinching just in case I was incorrect.

"Alright," Officer Meanie said, "you know what happens next?"

                    "What?" I asked.

The cops looked at each other. I couldn't make out much, but it looked like they were smiling.

Officer Meanie lowered his flashlight, and the other cop took off his hat. As they turned their heads to look at me, I could fondly make out who they were. They were the Wolves. I heard about the Wolves, everyone had...but the Wolves were supposed to be just rumors.

But they weren't rumors anymore. No, they were real right in front of my face. Brown haired creatures in blue clothing, creatures with the intent to kill their victims and make the public ignorant. Creatures with teeth deep enough to kill anybody in sight, any creatures smaller than them. And they looked hungry.

The first wolf lifted his leg and kicked me square in the throat, his steel toe cap contacting with my Adam's Apple. I fell over to my side, blood pouring out of my mouth fast like a waterfall, like dollar bills and change falling out of jeans.

"Dance!" The second wolf yelled at me. I couldn't dance. I could barely even move!

                    All I did was moan.

"I think he's done for," The first wolf said, "time to feast!"

The two wolves smiled as they descended on my innocent body, tearing my skin and bones apart one at a time. In my final moments, the only thing I could think was, what did I even do?
