Chapter eight

-"The hell does she mean by that?"- Diana cursed, something that she usually didn't do.

Amanda glanced at Akko.

-"What are you doing?"- She asked, before glancing back to the front.

Akko shrugged -"Not much, my brother said the same old story that we'd fuck and kiss anytime"-

Amanda lifted an eyebrow -"Seriously? That was one time, and we were like really drunk, I mean really"- She laughed.

Akko laughed but it soon died down, looking througout the window, thinking.

-"What is the matter?"- Amanda asked noticing the girl's expression change.

-"Nothing"- The brunette said, her tone off.

-"Oh please, there are two things you totally don't do when you are fine, stay quiet and think"- She pointed them out with her fingers -"Now, spill the beans, what is the matter?"- she finish stopping in a red light.

Akko gulped -"I don't want Diana to get hurt"- She simply said not looking at the girl.

-"But didn't you said your brother was changing?"- Amanda lifted an eyebrow.

Akko frowned -"I love my brother, but I know he had skipped terapy, and stopped drinking the pills, I'm not sure if this time the challenge will end fine"- She sniffled, only remembering the time he almost killed her.

Amanda knew about the incident, most she was the one who helped her get out of it -"I don't think you should keep going with it"- She said concerned.

The brunette felt her heart tighten -"But I want her"- She simply said leaving the rest of the trip in total silence.

-"I'm going out"- Diana said, walking out of the brunettes house.

-"Where are you going?"- He asked in a stern voice.

-"No where"- She finish getting her blue light jacket and opening the door.

Andrew walked out of the kitchen, directing himself toward the door, gripping the girl's arm and pulling it back.

-"When I ask you something, you answer!"- he growled, not noticing the force he was putting on the grip, making the girl cried out in pain.

He let go quickly -"I'm so sorry"- he apologized.

Diana blankly looked at him, touching slowly her wrist, whincing in pain -"Don't touch me"- She warned him, walking away from the house.

Andrew screamed angrily, punching the door, making a crack on it, before closing it with a loud noise and walking toward the kitchen, opening the gabinet and taking out a bottle.

Cup after cup, bottle after bottle, he had lost the count after the third bottle, making him dizzy, the door open and he stood up stumbling toward the noise.

He saw his little sister, making him smile -"This is all your fault"- He simply said punching the wall.

Akko shivered -"Oh fuck"- She whispered under her breath -"Not again"- She said.

She turned around but the door didn't move has she remembered she closed it.

A strong force made her hit the wall -"You always do this don't you, she was supposed to be mine! And mine only"- He growled, taking the girl by the neck.

She started to struggled, trying to catch her air.

-"I'm always the bad guy, aren't I, you always have to win! Why!? What the hell do you have that I don't!?"- He spat at her, making the girl, unable to touch the ground.

She placed her hand on the boy's and gripped them, kicking him in between his leg making him groan and release her.

Akko fell to the floor, breathing heavily, before standing up, and punching him in the face.

-"I have a fucking heart!!"- She spat out, rushing away from him.

-"What the hell do you mean by that?"- He groaned standing up and rushing behind her.

-"Means you are an asshole! Who thinks that can treat anyone as he pleased, that for you to feel something needs to take a fucking pill!!!"- She screamed back, closing the door of her room, and locking it.

She could heard her brother's furious step getting closer.

-"Open the fucking door Kagari!"- He screamed.

-"Hell no"- She said looking around her room for a way out.

She glanced at the window and rushed toward it, she tried opening it, but remembered her brother had locked it years ago.

-"Fuck"- She breathed out.

-"Atsuko Kagari! You better open the fucking door before I crash it"- His fist made contact with the door, making the girl jump a little.

-"Yeah, like I would get myself to hell, you are joking right"- She sarcastically said, taking her chair and trowing it to the window, it broke.

As she was about to kick the remaining, Andrew kicked the door, making it abruptly move, making her stop midway, glancing toward the door, it was hit again, this time it indeed open.

Without thinking Akko's eyes widen, and she quickly climbed out, scratching her skin, as she hold back the cried of pain, before she could completely come out Andrew gripped her feet pulling her back, causing she'd stab a few of the shaterred cristal in her hand.

Holding back the pain, she used the same leg to kick him, making him stumble back by the alcohol inside him.

She pushed herself out the window, jumping to the floor below, it was easy since she had practice, but hard because of the recents cuts.

Akko looked behing her, letting out a sad sigh -"I love you, but you are worst than a beast"- She said remembering what she texted Diana.

Rushing down the street, her feet took her to her childhood house, the place she grew up in, as she knocked on the door, blood dripping down her.

The door open a few minutes after, hearing a woman gasp -"Akko"- she said in a concerned voice.

-"Hi, mom"-
