Lexie's POV:
I'm In Meredith, Derek, Christina And I's Apartment After Working At The Hospital For 5 Hours. I Try To Relax And Make Myself Some Food When The Entrance Door Breaks.
I Scream In Shock And I See Him Holding A Gun. He Fires And I Manage To Duck Before It Could Hit Me. I Run And He Keeps Firing At Me But I Get To The Elevator.
I Keep Pressing The One Button As He Goes To Me And Points The Gun At Me. He Shoots And I Feel A Pain Before Nothing.
Meredith's POV:
Apparently A Shooting Happened In An Apartment Building And There Has Been 3 Counted Dead And 4 Injured. An Ambulance Comes In And I See A Man.
"Franklin Delaware Age 45 Shot To The Shoulder Has Lost A Lot Of Blood But Stable" The Paramedic Says And Is Taking To Trauma Room 1. Another Ambulance Arrives.
"Michael Jones Age 32 Shot To The Arm Has Lost A Lot A Blood But Stable" He Says And He Goes To Trauma Room 2 As Another Ambulance Arrives.
"Elizabeth Roberts Age 65 Shot To The Chest, Lost A Lot Of Blood And Needs Medical Attention Immediately" The Paramedic Says And She's Taken Away And Another Ambulance Arrives.
"Jane Doe, Age 23, Shot In The Head We Need You To Confirm Her Dead" The Paramedic Says And I Nod. I Look And I Gasp Seeing Lexie Laying There, Not Moving.
I Start Crying And I Hear Footsteps And A Gasp. Someone Hugs Me And I Look To See It's Derek. He Holds Me As I Cry Into His Chest.
"Time Of Death-" The Doctor Is Cut Off When There Is A Slight Gasp. "Not Time Of Death, She Is Alive!" The Doctor Says. "How?" I Ask. "Must Of Not Hit Her Brain" He Says.
They Take Her Away And Derek Comforts Me More Before Taking Me To The Waiting Room. An Hour Later The Doctor Finally Walks Out And To Us.
"Lexie Is Very Lucky To Be Alive, The Bullet Didn't Hit The Brain But She Did Take A Rough Fall. She Will Be Ok Though With Just A Concussion" He Says And We Nod.
He Brings Us To Her Room And I Sit Next To Her. I Look At Lexie To See Bandages Around Her Head But She Moves A Little, Making Me Smile.
Her Eyes Slowly Open And Looks Around A Little. She Tries To Say My Name But I Stop Her "I'm Here Lexie, So Is Derek And Mark Is On His Way" I Say And She Slowly Nods.
I Hear Her Mutter Something But I Can't Understand It. "What Did You Say Lexie?" I Ask. She Slowly Opens Her Mouth Again. "Ouch" Is All She Says And I Smile.
Mark Comes In And Holds Her Hand And We Talk For A While And Soon She Is Good Enough To Return To Work.
