I sigh. "What do you want to tell me Jo-Jo?" I stare at him. I swore I saw a fucking smirk.
"Jo-Jo. Hmm. Interesting. I never thought of that before." Joey said with that I-swore-I-saw-that-fucking-smirk.
"Would you rather me call you Janet?" I said with an evil smile creeping upon my face.
"Nah. As much as I still hate 'Jo-Jo,'" I think I'm going to choose that instead of Janet." He said while putting up his hands in surrender.
"That's what I thought. Now what did you want to tell me. It's not everyday you see yourself get serious." I say while tapping my foot impatiently.
"Aw. Come on. I'm always serious. I'm serious about making out with you" He said with pleading eyes. I thought they were going to shoot through my body or something.
"Shut up Jo-Jo."
He shut up immediately. I smirked. I could play this game all day.
"Ahem. Anyways. As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, my friend Jackson has moved in my house from Minnesota."
I gave him the are-you-serious-look. "That's it? What a waste of a serious look. That was priceless!"
Poor Jo-Jo frowned. "No, that's not all. He's also a pervert and a player, so i would recommend staying as far as possible from him."
"Alright I will. Thanks for reminding me, dad. I should NOT totally stay away from strangers." I rolled my eyes.
"Good Edith." He smiled happily. Gah! He's acting like my father!
"Alright. Now it's my turn to tell you something really crazy but awkward."
******
I just finished telling him about what happened when I met Emily.
"But it may just be some crazy nightmare or something. Don't worry about it Joey." I made the fakest smile in the fakest smiles in history book.
*JOEY'S P.O.V.*
Once Edith finished telling me what was going on and why she looked so scared when I first saw her in front of her house, I felt as if the blood from my face just drained.
"A girl named Emily Caldwell as she told me, just kidnapped me and led me to an underground tunnel then did something to me. I can't remember what it was. But it may be just some crazy nightmare or something. Don't worry about it Joey."
How? How is she alive? How could only Edith see her? Or maybe it just might be some crazy nightmare as Edith said.
*EDITH'S P.O.V*
I saw Jo-Jo's face turn pale as if he saw a ghost. Did I say something that upset him?
I sit down as far away as possible just in case a cow comes flying and ends up hitting both my and Jo-Jo is we were next to each other.
If this bitch isn't going to act like his normal, jerk self, I will send him flying to his house without hesitation.
"You can go home now. You're not acting like your jerk self so I suggest you go home; and until you act normal, don't come around me. I don't like getting in sombody's depressed zone." I declare, regretting what I just said.
I remember Nat. She's been avoiding me for these past few days. I wonder if she dislikes me now.
I check my phone and find like 5 texts and 7 calls 3 texts from Jo-Jo and 2 texts from Nat. The rest of the calls was all Nat though. Holy crap on cake.
