My phone rang while I was sleeping. I checked what time it is and it's 5:30 in the morning. Who the fuck calls around 5:30?!! I picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Oh, did I wake you up, True?" It was Trey. It's been three weeks after I gave him his gift I've been calling Trey Jovon. Jovon said I'm the only person to call him that including his family. I got out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror.

"Yeah, but it's fine! Once I'm awake I can't go back to sleep. So why'd you call?" I asked.

"I wanted to let you know don't forget to meet me outside around 7:10 to go to breakfast together. I know it's a long time but I know girls and their time on dressing up!" Jovon laughed.

"Aw, shut up! Girls need to make sure if they're proper dressed. Or as Rihanna says get ya swag on!" I imitated as Rihanna.

"Ha, ha! Speaking of Rihanna, where is she? I haven't seen her since school was out."

"Oh, she's at Flordia visiting her dad." Rihanna's dad is nice. I met him before and he's a better parent than Rihana's mom.

"MAN! I want to go! I need to get out of this state!" Jovon whined. I can tell he's smiling at the other line. I wish I can see his smile I like.

"Me too! I need excitement!" I pulled a string off my hair.

"SHIT!!!" Jovon shouted.

"What is it?" I asked.

"What's today?!"

"Um, June 18th... Why?"

"It's my cousin's 12th birthday party and I have to go! I have to do the decoration by myself!" Jovon groaned. I was sad he had to cancel the breakfast but I had an idea!

"I can help you decorate," I said hoping he won't ask a family to help.

"I don't know..." Jovon sounded unsure. I'll remind him how I was the best decorator ever!

"Man, you remeber 4th grade I won for the best decorative Christmas Theme for the classroom?"

"Oh yeah! You were the best! Okay, I was about to ask Bella-" I stopped hearing what he said when he said Bella. Man, Bella was trying to compete me for the best decorative classroom and she almost made me disqualify for a set up. Jovon was sick at the set up. He didn't know about it because the teachers were taking students' recess if they talk about and everybody loves recess.

"True, True??" I forgot he was talking to me.

"Oh, sorry. I guess I was in La La Land," I blushed.

"How was it?" Jovon laughed.

"It was soooo fucking fun until you ruin it!" I pretended to be mad. We both laughed.

"Okay, meet me at Party City 10:00. Got it, sis?" When he said sis part of me wish to tell him how I really feel.

"Got it, bro!" I said with a sad face. We both hang up. I fell flat on my bed grabbed my pillow and screamed in it. I wished I tell him how much I like him. My chest hurt so bad. I looked at a picture that we took from 8th grade. We were making a silly face.

"I have to tell you how I feel before it's to late," I said to the picture.

"Why in the whole wide world do we need these shit!" Jovon threw the box on the floor.

"Because, I said so! AND your cousin requested a Sweet Preteen," I said putting the box down and went to Jovon's mom's car to get more boxes. Me and Jovon are at a party house where his auntie and uncle rented. It's a big party house.

"Man, it will take 4 hours to do this!" Jovon grabbed a box and dropped it on the floor.

"Careful, decorations are breakable," I checked at the box Jovon dropped at to make sure it's not broken.

"Bullshit!" Jovon shouted. It echoed through the house.

"It maybe bullshit to you but to me it's fun. Give decorating a chance, hm?" I grabbed the last box and put it on the ground.

"True, we got ten boxes of decorations. When we bought those we needed a boxes to put this decorations! It costed about $400. My parents are going to kill me!" Jovon waved his arms like a mad man.

"Jovon. Chill. Decorating may look like it''s easy but it isn't. Let's start with the balloons," I open the box of ballons.

"Can we do something that doesn't invovle my breath being wasted?"Jovon begged on his knees. I laughed when he did that.

"I wish but the hard ones should be taken care of first so we won't do it at the end," I said blowing a balloon. "Your cousin wants the balloons on the ground."

"I'll get you Mia!" Jovon grumbled as he grabbed the balloon.

Jovon and I finished doing the balloons which it took an hour to do that.

"My... breath... is... gone..." Jovon is soooo over dramatic.

"We're not done yet," I showed him the streamers.

"Damn it!" Jovon feel flat to the ground.

"Your cousin must be spoiled," I shake my head and laughed.

"That's true, True! Hey! True, true!" Jovon laughed. I blushed. I wished he forgot about the nickname he gave me. True True. "I remember you would hit me if I say that." I hit Jovon.

"Thanks for reminding me!" I smiled and threw streamers at him. "Just shut up and decorate!"

"Man!" Jovon got up. We both hang the shiny purple and black streamers at the ceiling. I have to admit but Mia got good taste. Jovon went out to buy lunch. I was mixing black and purple glitter and pouring it on the ground. Hey, the girl requested glitter on the ground. The tables were already set and ready. Jovon got subway.

"One sub with ham, tomatoes, green pepper, spinich, lettuce, with mayonnaise and ranch that's warm!" Jovon hold the bag.

"That's for me!" I grabbed the food. "I was hungry when you mention that!"

"I order the same thing as yours BUT with pickles," Jovon his sub.

"Ew, pickles are too salty," I frowned.

"Whatever! We're almost done with the stupid decorations!" Jovon smiled.

"Yeah and it's NOT stupid!" I hit his arm.

Jovon and I were sitting down chatting while Mia's party was going on. I saw Mia going to Jovon's direction.

"Hey Jovon, you did a great job with the decorations," Mia smiled and hugged him.

"Yeah but True was the one who made me do a bunch of crap and did most of your style in preteen style!" Jovon pointed to me. Mia turned to me and hugged me.

"You're the best decorator EVER!" She squealed at the ever. I hugged back.

"No problem," I winked. Mia went back to the dancefloor. When Party Rock Anthem came on I grabbed Jovon and took him to the dancefloor.
