third person point of view

you let yourself into ethan and grayson's apartment with the spare key they gave to you. you walk into the kitchen expecting to see grayson, but you are even more upset when you saw ethan.

"where's your brother?" you ask, choking back tears and emotions.

ethan looks up at you and gets concerned immediately. "y/n, are you okay?"

"where's grayson," you say, being more demanding this time.

"he's in his room," ethan says, pointing to the short hall in the apartment.

you show yourself to grayson's room and barge in without knocking -- respecting privacy was in the very back of your mind, but you remembered it when you walked in and saw grayson in nothing but a towel.

"ethan you need to kno- jesus christ!" he jumped and was holding onto his towel very tightly once he saw it was you. "what are you doing here?"

"i, um, i needed to talk to you," you stuttered. "it can wait until later." you turned around to leave but grayson stopped you almost immediately.

"no, what's wrong?" he asks in a softer voice. he takes your hand and guides you to his bed, taking a seat with you and studying your hard-to-read expression.

you open your mouth to say something but get cut off by the tears rolling down your face. instead of talking you just pull out your phone, going straight to your messages and showing him the texts between you and your now ex-boyfriend. he said that he didn't like how sloppy and bad your kissing was and that he would prefer to tongue a dog before kissing you again and broke up with you; you were more upset about how he insulted you than you were about the break up since you two were only together for about three months.

"fucking jackass," grayson said, throwing your phone behind him. "it isn't cool to say shit like that. if you don't think someone is good at kissing then you shouldn't just leave them! it's so fucked up!"

"grayson, i get it, you're mad," you say, finally getting your voice back. "i'm just upset that he said those things.. i mean, i knew i wasn't a good kisser, but i didn't think i was that bad." you sigh and run your fingers through your hair "i wish someone could teach me how to kiss."

grayson laughs and stands up "well, i would be certainly honored to tea-"

"grayson, teach me," you cut him off.

"huh?" he looks down at you, a little puzzled.

"teach me how to kiss," you state more clearly.

grayson laughs "you're kidding, right?"

you blush furiously and shake your head "i want you to teach me."

grayson starts to blush. he was kind of joking about teaching you how to kiss and at the same time he wasn't and has wanted to kiss you for a while now, but his silence began to make you feel embarrassed and unwelcomed. you stood up to leave but grayson grabbed you by your hand and laced your fingers together so that you couldn't leave unless you ran. he pulled you close to him and ran his fingers through your tangled hair and gently held your neck and made you look up at him.

"i would be happy to teach you y/n," he whispers before leaning down and connecting his lips with yours, carefully kissing you as he guided you to his other bed. when you guys pulled away to take a breath you were straddling his waist and the towel was barely even on him. "you're already learning fast grasshopper," he joked before going in for another kiss.
