Hello my wonderful subjects *fancy wave* smh let me stop, anyway sorry in advance for gramatical errors :) I'm just writing and posting as it comes to me. Hope you enjoy and I would love to hear what you think.

"No! Absolutely not!" Queen Larissa refuted.

"We meant no offense my Queen, but it has been almost sixteen year since the King has departed from us."

"I do not require a reminder of my own husband's passing Victor," Larissa snarled.

"Forgive me your Excellence, I did not mean to-" the queen harshly cut him off with a bang of her scepter.

"You never seem to mean anything as of late, Lord Victor."

"What he means your Excellence, is that without a king on the throne, many of our enemies may see it as an opening to invade our shores," offered one of the members of the council.

"Let them think what they will, Elyria's army is far more capable than any of our enemies!"

"We are aware of such facts my Queen, but the people are beginning to speak worrisome words," Another council member interjected.

"Of what do they speak, that it should be considered worrisome?" she asked skeptically.

"No one outside of the people that dwell in this castle has ever seen the princess. They have only heard of her beauty and grace, but have yet to see their future queen."

"And I have yet to see your point Councilor!" Queen Larissa bellowed impatiently.

"There is talk that because Elyria is absent a King on the throne, the Royal Family has grown weak, and fears the safety of the princess."

"Who dares to say such words, it is treason to even think such things!" the bang of her scepter echoed throughout the throne room, causing the council members to visible flinch.

"It is only human nature to speculate when given reason," Victor states.

"So am I to believe that you share their thoughts?" she growled at Victor.

Getting up from her regal throne, Queen Larissa took powerful strides to the round table where her council members were seated. As she made her way towards them, the train of her black and gold gown, trailed behind her. The gold corset dress had an intricate black design throughout, paired with a black cloak that closed around her waist, carrying the same design of the dress on the cuff of the sleeves and neck. Her attire was finished with a black pearl necklace with gold accents, and her crown.

"The point of these meetings is not to tend to the gossip of the people, but to deal with important matters. If you can't determine the difference, then I think it is time I chose a new group of councilors." With both hand on the table, she looked in each member's eyes as she spoke, making sure that they understood the severity of her words. "Now, is there anything else we need to discuss before we adjourn?"

"There is still the matter of the people not having the privilege of seeing the princess," Victor said meekly.

"Hmm, I see your point Councilor, but I do what I must to protect MY daughter. However, I will consider your point and have a word with the princess; we will discuss my decision in five days." She proclaimed and left the throne room without another word.

And that is how you make and exit!!! Queen[1] Councilors[0] lol I know it was short but hopefully still a good read :)
