A few weeks pass and its finally my birthday week, I cant wait to be 18 in four days. The girls and I are going to be doing alot this week. Life being single been okay, Im not going to lie I miss seeing james but I cant be in a relationship where the partner is cheating. Jacquan and I been close, he been with me since the james situation. I still have small feelings for quan because he was my first kiss, my first love, my first everything, yeah I know that was like in middle school but still he is my first. The girls and I even including my dad's fiance candace is with us, we getting our nails and toes done.
"so when you getting you're hair done." candance ask
"Thursday, im getting a brazillian 20,22,24 inches baby." I said with hand and neck motion
"sounds cute." she responded
"yasss nica gon be flawless on her bday." natural replied
"I woke up like this I woke up like this, we flawless ladies tell them, I woke like this oh I woke up like this..say I look so good tonight got damn got damn got damn say I look so good tonight...." candance, natural, gina, zaria and etc started singing everyone was looking at us like we crazy, but we didnt mind, thats how we are when we all are together.
As I was drying my toes and nails, jacquan and his friends came inside the nail salon. At first I thought he came to do his toes or something but he didnt.
"wassup mo." he said coming to me
"hey what you doing in here." I asked
"I called gina she said ya was here and I came to bring you money to pay for your nails and toes." he said,
"nah its okay I got it."
"no let me do this, its your bday week and I want to spoil my girl." he replied did he just say his girl, nigga must be out his damn mind
"right I told you, I aint yo girl."
"you aint my girl yet but you will be." he wink at me and gave me money for my nails and toes "and ima pay for your hair, and whatever else you want to do or get done." he continue
"ugh okay fine, but im only letting you spoil me just because its my bday, you understand. "
"yeah whatever bye ma." he said kissing me on the cheek and left, I aint expect that, but I guess
"oo nana look what quan just started ." nautral yelled from across the room, I just blushed and everyone laughed
"hold up i hope he left me money to pay for my nails." gina loud ass said getting up from the dryer trying to run outside to catch up to quan. We all laughed at her
"girl shut up it aint your birthday no time soon." zaria answered, gina just wave her off. I love my friends

(Tuesday)
I woke up feeling good, I took a shower, brush my teeth, deodorant and all and got dress. since im going to be doing alot today I just wore something simple a half shirt and some shorts. I had took out my poetics so I put my real hair into a messy bun. Jacquan wanted to be go out with me to lunch so im going with him right now. He picked me up and we went to my favorite spot "panera bread."
"I see you cant wait to be 18." quan said
"duhhh im soo happy."
"I remember when I was 18, I did so much stuff I also had a -"
"nigga shut up you only 19, you making it seem like you old." he laughed
"whatever hurry up and finish this food, so we can go."
"you gon learn how to stop rushing me." I got up and threw my food away and we left "ight where we going now." I asked
"just be quiet when we get there is when we get there."
" oo quan you is so lucky that I just got my nails done ima bout to beat yo ass, say something else I dont like." quan aint reply "thats what I thought." After the long ass drive we finally came to a stop.
"ight put this on." he said throwing me a bandana.
"hell no." I said throwing it back at him
"bruh please."
"ugh fine." I grab it from him and covered my eyes. I swear quan better make sure I like this surprise. I got out of the car and quan came and grab my hand we walked, he made sure I walked slowly so I wouldn't hurt my self since I couldnt see. We walked more and came to a stop.
"okay stay right here." he said and I heard him run somewhere. This nigga better not have abandoned me. I waited for like 2 minutes "okay take off the bandana." he said. I took it off and there was quan holding a brown yorki. The puppy was so tiny but cute as hell. I was crying but they were joyful tears.
"is that for me." I yelled/sob
"yea and its a boy."
"omg thank you quan." I went to him and hug him tight and kissed his cheek. I grab the dog from him and kissed it. "ima name him chucky."
"yeah I like that name, we needa go buy him stuff, ight." I nod
"lets go to walmart or petco."
"hell nah we going to walmart we on a budget." I laughed at his retarded self. we walked back to the car and drove off to walmart.

"your total will be $301.78." the lady at the register said
"damn mo, that damn dog cost so much."
"whatever, you got him for me." he shook his head and hand the lady his card
"have a nice day." she said we grab the cart and walked back to the car and put the bags in the trunk
"thanks again quan."
" no problem, but yo dog gon need to cuff back that money I spent on his ass." I hit him on his head
"leave my baby alone."
"ight, and dont think ima be watching his ass for you either"
"whatever quan." I stuck my tongue out "you know you love me."
"nah."
"fuck you then."
"when." he whisper in my ear
"boy bye." I went inside the car and waited for him to be done so I can go home
