Way back when the sun smiled upon me
Way back when the flowers leaned in to me
Way back when the clowds fled from me
Way back when I stepped outside and storms ceased
Way back when I summoned rain for the trees
Way back when the birds sang to wake me
Way back when crickets chirped happily at my prescence
Prescence?
Snap.
Now the sun beats down on me with it's glares
Now flowers choose to shrivel and die when I am near
Now clouds and despair hang over me
Now when I step outside lightening blazes my path
Now rain ceases when trees are in drought
Now birds silently pray that I don't wake
Now crickets scream at me when I walk by
Sigh.
If only the past...
Past?
Snap
Way back when the sun smiled upon me
Way back when the flowers leaned in to me
Way back when the clowds fled from me
Way back when I stepped outside and storms ceased
Way back when I summoned rain for the trees
Way back when the birds sang to wake me
Way back when crickets chirped happily at my... Being
That being all a lie, I am sad.
Nature loves me no more.
I don't deserve it's love.
But I deserve to try to change.
Me
Nature
The ways things are
My future
