Broken Heart

My hearts not a revolving door

That's not what it was made for.

Wasn't made for lying, cheating and bleeding

It was made for loving without leaving.

It's not just some house to stay in during a storm.

No, it's a home that just wants to be warmed.

This heart of mine was built strong

To outlast storms all night long

But this heart of mine has weathered it's fair share

I'm afraid it's damaged beyond repair.

No longer a home but just a hole

Searching for love in a barren sole

Filled with hate, anger and sorrow

Those broken dreams for tomorrow

Nothing left to lose but nothing left to gain

For it knows life not as a game of love but as a game of pain.
