-Miss You-

-Chapter One-

Harry sat alone in the house that he was staying in while he was working on his new album in Jamaica.

His band was there, about to begin recording once again.

He had a drink in his one hand, and his phone in the other, scrolling through Instagram and texting his mum.

Jeff, who was helping Harry produce the album, appears in the doorway.

"Hey, we're ready to record if you are", He says.

Harry looked up from his phone.

"Uh, yeah. Right of course", Harry says, sliding his phone back in his pocket.

He stands and sets his drink down, walking towards the door.

"You ok, Harry?", Jeff asks him.

"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine", Harry reassures him.

But he wasn't.

Harry was stubborn when it came to talking about his feelings, not wanting anyone to worry or completely focus all on him.

Jeff and Harry walked into the studio, and Mitch handed Harry a pair of headphones.

He thanked him, and stepped into the booth.

"Alright Harry, we'll start with 'From The Dining Table' and go from there", Jeff says through a microphone.

Harry nodded and put the headphones on as the music started playing, and he began singing along into the mic.

"Woke up alone in this hotel room, played with myself where were you?", Harry sang completely with his heart.

This song was special to him, and so far always made him cry while singing it.

But then again, everything did lately.

It was hard for Harry to focus in particularly today, but he didn't understand why.

But then he realized it had been officially a year since he and Louis last saw each other.

That broke his heart into two pieces.

He struggled through the rest of the day, singing with his heart still, but not completely there.

Of course his body was there, but his mind wasn't.

It kept drifting off the Louis, wondering what he was doing that moment, wondering if Louis missed him as much as Harry missed him.

After he was done recording, they went out for dinner.

Harry struggled through that too.

He tried listening to conversations, but he just couldn't.

Everything sounded cloudy to him, like it was muffled by ear muffs or something.

"Harry, are you sure you're alright?", Mitch asked from across the table.

"Yeah. It's just been a long day, tired. Do you guys mind if I head home?", he asked, mumbling the last part a bit.
