-Chapter Nine--Miss You-
Louis had just landed in London the following day, he didn't want to be here. He wanted to be with Harry, even if it wasn't physically home, Harry was his home.
He had to think of an excuse as to why he had to leave. He told him he had a meeting with Management, which was true, sort of.
He didn't sleep at all on the flight back, he didn't eat or drink. He didn't want to do this.
He hated Management, he should've sued them a long time ago and came out, but he never had the confidence to.
He didn't even have time to go to his flat, he was driven directly to Modest! from the airport.
When he arrived they quickly began putting makeup on his face to cover up his tiredness, and roughly Louis might add.
They weren't good like Lou, they were sloppy and rough, almost smacking his face each time they added a new product.
Louis hadn't seen Eleanor, and he didn't want to.
But he had to.
Soon enough, they were whisked out into the room where the broadcast was going on.
He was met up with Eleanor a few moments before, forced to link arms with her and act like he loved her, even though he didn't.
Sure Eleanor wasn't a terrible person, Louis was friends with her, but he certainly didn't know her well enough to love her.
Everything between them was staged, all the pictures, the kisses, the dates.
The bright lights blinded Louis when they entered the room, he had to squint slightly to see.
When they were in the middle of the room, a random person selected by Modest! was interviewing them, but Louis wasn't paying attention, he drowned them out.
He kept his eyes on the person who was supposed to give him the signal for when he was supposed to propose, and he did.
Soon enough, the signal from off camera was given, and Louis kept on his fake smile, and reached into his pocket and pulled out the box, dropping to one knee.
"Eleanor Calder", Louis started, although he wished it was Harry's name he would be saying instead.
Eleanor put on a fake-surprised face that Louis saw right through.
He mentally rolled his eyes.
"Will you make me so very happy, and marry me?", Louis asked, regretting it immediately.
"Yes!", Eleanor said, jumping excitedly.
Louis slid the ring on Eleanor's finger, and she pulled him in for a kiss.
Louis wanted to push her away, but he couldn't.
The room erupted in applause, while Louis made himself hug Eleanor back.
Afterwards they were allowed to leave, Eleanor grabbed Louis' wrist.
"Louis", She said.
"What?", Louis snapped, turning around to face her.
"I know how much you hate this", She says.
"Do you? Do you have any idea what it's like to be in love with one of your best friends in the entire world, who you've been in a hidden relationship with for the last almost seven years, even though you're forced apart by management and made to be engaged to someone else? Because if you do, I'd be surprised", Louis said, about to cry.
