We walked around the nearby park, side by side. The weather was truly amazing, a sunny day with a soft breeze.

My hand brushed against yours and a while later I blushed, feeling your fingers intertwine with mine.

Your gaze was focused on a colorful truck, before you switched your attention to me. "Can we get some ice cream?" Your eyes were practically pleading me.

I chuckled before nodding my head. "Sure."

One word was enough for you to start running forward, as I stumbled behind you, trying to adjust to your pace.

"One strawberry and one vanilla flavoured, please." I ordered, looking at your wide smile.

"There you go. Have a nice day!" We received the ice cream cones and carried on wandering.

I glanced at our entwined hands as you started swinging them back and forth. I couldn't help but smile at the little action.

Sometimes you're like a kid trapped in a man's body. Careless and irresponsible.

But in the end, you are the one whom I fell in love with.
