Heart's Darkness (Inazuma Eleven)

Prologue

How many years has it been since I stumbled upon it? No matter how hard I tried to forget it the memory just keeps resurfacing. The Aliea Meteorite that father is so proud of.

It was pure chance that I discovered it or maybe that's what father wanted me to find by bringing me there. When father returned to get me that day and started to talk as I admire this purple crystal before me. Father explained his plan of using it for military purposes after it was thoroughly examined and mostly understood to make the most out of its powers. His explanation surprised me as he explained the potential it had.

When father finally presented his proposal the Prime Minister Zaizen Sousuke refused. It was quite well known that the Prime Minister adored soccer so father changed his approach. He plans to use soccer with the addition of the Aliea Meteorite and destroy areas of Japan to force Zaizen Sousuke into agreeing.

I had to sit out of this whole plan and watch from the sidelines. The reason was quite simple, I could not play soccer anymore not after that accident. That's quite wrong but the  truth was that I couldn't bring my self to play anymore in fear of losing the ability to walk again.

The most fearful thing was the changes that they went through, especially those who possesses a shard of the meteorite. The once loving siblings turned cold to me since I was useless and far below them with the semi exception of Hiroto. He was even more so determined to live up to father's expectation and repay him for all he's done for us, but that in turn changed him.

It wasnt long before Hitomiko-neesama eventually left due to her opposing views with father.

Even seeing what it was doing to them I was still disappointed in not making the team. The answer is clear after I thought about it. I wanted some sort of acknowledgement from father any sort of praise would do.

I had no place here but this was home my family so I'll just watch this spectacle unfold before me and be there to pick up the broken trail behind them.
