Pffft, Hydrokinesis? Seriously what could you do with that? Drown everyone? That's not very hero like. Unfortunately, even though Izuku Midoriya had a quirk, and a great one at that, nobody saw it that way. Well fuck if he cares he's still going to become the best hero out here and prove all these people wrong. Izuku's quirk is already strong as hell but, imagine him fighting around a large body of water! Oh damn, well you get the point. Also Katsuki is Izuku's best friend, somehow.
Izuku has had a sort of sad life though even though he has a great quirk. How exactly? What do you not believe me? Well fine I'll tell you. You don't have to be such a jerk about it damn.
It all started one day when was a 4 year old child, today was the day he was going to see what kind of quirk he would get! He was shooting questions at his mother faster than I could fall asleep, it was insane. But they finally made it. Inko was sitting in a chair next to her son, he was grinning ear to ear. He was exstatic, and why wouldn't he be? Anyway the doctor gave them great news, "well from what i can tell Izuku here should get his quirk any day now!" He said happily while smiling at Izuku.
Izuku's eyes were sparkling brightly, "does that mean I could be a hero!?" He asked excitedly, "yes of course, with your parents quirks I would say that you could maybe get a fire quirk!" The doctor replied trying to make Izuku happy, he loves kids. (In a none creepy way, just so you know).
The next couple of days were filled with anticipation, Izuku was always trying to summon his quirk, but getting no results. One day was different though, he was eating dinner with his mother when he accidentally spilled the water off of the table, but before it hit the floor the water stoped. Inko was shocked, so was Izuku, but he finally knew what his quirk was, he made the water fly back into the cup using just his mind. That's fucking cool as hell I wish I could do that! Oh sorry, I've been watching to many Bakugo videos.
"Mommy, I have my quirk, I can move water with my brain", he said while moving the water out of the cup again. "That's great Izuku, now you get to show all your friends at school tomorrow and be a hero." She said to him while he was radiating brightness from the smile he was flashing. A little later on he went to bed for the night.
Later on Izuku had awoken to the sound of people talking, which means his did is home from work. He walked downstairs and heard what his parents were talking about. ".... A water quirk! That doesn't make any damn sense inko! Is he even mine?!" He heard his dad yell, what does all of this mean? He kept listening, " I'm leaving! I can't believe you inko!" He yelled out followed by the sound of the front door slamming. He heard his mother sobbing and went to comfort his mother.
"Oh Izuku, why did this have to happen? Why? Why?" She questions herself as she sobs. She's heartbroken. 💔 . Though I can see where her husband, well I guess now ex-husband was coming from. It made no sense for Izuku to get a quirk that was the opposite was water related. I mean his father had a fire breathing quirk, and his mother had a weak attraction quirk, so I anyone would've thought that he'd get Pyrokinesis maybe. But damn he's a d*ck I guess.

This whole thing led to Izuku not using his quirk all that much, leading to people thinking that his quirk was so weak that he didn't want to use it. The only person who knew the truth was Katsuki or Kacchan as Izuku would call him. Katsuki would gladly bash someone's face in if he heard them talk shit on Deku. Because Deku was strong, and he was too.
He didn't pity Izuku, he respected him, because to Katsuki, Deku's on his level. They would always walk home together, have nice little chats about becoming heros, and sometimes hang out after school. This is a nice thing they got going, they're rivals, but they were also friends, but Katsuki wouldn't admit it. It's embarrassing. Also the way his quirk works is simple, he could manipulate any type of water, and if he summoned his own it would dehydrate him just a little bit.
But that wasn't really a problem because he could summon a lot of water without dehydrating too much. This'll be important soon enough. But anyway today Izuku and Bakugo were walking home together like usual, but they decided to get drinks and Izuku left to get some soda. While Katsuki was alone he picked up a can and blew it up using his quirk. But this caught the unwanted attention of a villain, a villain made of sludge. You know what happens next.
Short Little Time Skip
Izuku was heading back to the spot he left Katsuki in, drinks in hand he was relaxed. Until he saw a huge fire, a couple of hero's, and a large crowd where Katsuki was. Oh no. He went over walked over hoping for this to be a huge misunderstanding. But he saw Kacchan stuck in a huge sludge monster. Oh god what the hell. He was frozen, this can't be happening right now! He remained that way until he met eyes with him. He was pleading for help.
Izuku didn't know when he started running but it was to late to turn back. 'wait, this guy is made of slime right? Okay I've got it!' he thought to himself as he raised his right arm. Out of his hand shot a huge amount of water moving towards the villain. So much so that it completely washed it off of Katsuki. He was free and Izuku was relieved.
Oh boy did he get the talking when that was over, both Izuku and Katsuki were praised, but izuku got a Stern lecture about letting heros do their jobs, and quirk use without a license. After all that he was quite conflicted, he didn't know whether he was reckless or brave. Oh well who cares. Suddenly, "Hey it's me all might!" All Might popped out of nowhere. "A-all Might! What are you doing here?!" Izuku asked nervously. You already know the rest so I'll skip it.
".... So young Midoriya, will you except my quirk and become the next symbol of peace?" All Might asked in his skinny form (he told Izuku about it already) "Yes, I will!" He replied. "Perfect, well we'll have to train that little boy body of your to attain One For All, unless you want all your limbs shooting off!" He told him. And so they exchanged contact info and started training.
