Jungkook weaved around the countless dead bodies around him and smirked. He walked up to one that was still alive. The hunter reached his hand out weakly to his sword that was just an arm's length away. Jungkook tilted his head at the dying hunter's effort and stepped on his hand. The hunter groaned out loudly and desperately tried to move his hand out from under Jungkook's foot.

"Just make it easier for yourself and die already," Jungkook said putting pressure on the hunter's hand.

The vampire hunter yelled out in pain feeling his bones cracking under the pressure. "P-Please s-spare me," he begged, tears spilling out of his eyes as he peered up at Jungkook.

Jungkook rolled his eyes and raised his foot off of the hunter's hand and placed it on his head instead. "Looks like you need some help dying."

"N-No! P-Please...D-Don't kill me...I—" The rogue vampire didn't wait to hear the hunters pleads and stomped hard on his head killing him in an instant. Jungkook grimaced as he lifted his foot up and looked at his bloodied shoe.

"Aish...and these are my favorite shoes," he mumbled. He turned on his heel just as Jiwoo ran in with the others behind her.

"Jungkook!" She yelled.

Jungkook smiled wickedly as they neared him. "You're all just in time." He met the shocked eyes of his father and chuckled. "Hello, father. Have you been well?"

Joonhyuk shook his head. "J-Jungkook? But...How...are you alive? You...died? D-Didn't you?"

"Well, it's obvious that I didn't since I'm standing right here. I actually feel more alive than I ever have. Feels great," said Jungkook as he stepped in front of his father. "Not that you care anyway. You couldn't even bother to check for yourself. You didn't even send me with my partner." Jungkook's eyes flicked over to Yugyeom making the young hunter twitch out of fear and look away.

He looked back at his father and sighed. "You're such a selfish bastard, you know that? You even sent Jiwoo out on her own. How dumb could you be? You didn't learn after losing one child, did you?"

Jiwoo looked over at Joonhyuk noticing him tense up at Jungkook's words. She had never seen her father so quiet. She never imagined her dad as someone who never liked to hear the truth.

"I bet you haven't even told Jiwoo about the day she almost died," Jungkook said jabbing a finger hard against Joonhyuk's chest. "How you were the one who offered her up to the vampires to save your ass."

"That's enough," said Joonhyuk.

Jiwoo's eyes widened. "What? D-Dad...is...that true?"

"Oh, yeah, it's true. He offered you to the vampires to save himself because he didn't want to die. I bet you didn't know our father was a coward." Jungkook folded his arms across his chest. "Why don't you tell her how you were going to let her die that day, dad. How...if it wasn't for me crying for my precious twin sister, you wouldn't have saved her."

Jiwoo felt tears well up in her eyes hearing this. Her body started to shake from shock. "Is...it true? You...You were going to let me die? You...let the vampires attack me?"

Joonhyuk grit his teeth and didn't say anything. He only nodded as he looked away from his daughter.

"What? Why?"

"Because he never wanted a daughter," Jungkook answered for Joonhyuk. "Isn't that right?"

Joonhyuk didn't reply for a brief moment before nodding again. "That's right..."

Jiwoo gasped and took a step back, leaning against Jackson who held onto her tight to keep from her falling. "A-And the vampire blood? Why did you use vampire blood to save me?"

"It wasn't to save you," admitted Joonhyuk. "You were supposed to live for only another month with the blood in your body, but you survived. Your body took to the vampire blood perfectly. It was infuriating." Joonhyuk clenched his hands into fists as he spoke. "Not only did I have to raise a daughter I never wanted, she now had the blood of a monster inside of her."

"So, you've never actually loved me?" Jiwoo asked, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Joonhyuk shook his head. "No, I never have."

Jiwoo scoffed and glanced away from her father. She felt her heart clench hearing his words. To think that all these years, all twenty years of her life, her father never loved her. Anger began to bubble up in the pit of her stomach the longer she thought about it. All these years, she'd been trying to impress someone who never cared.

"So, you see, sister," Jungkook said gaining her attention, "you've been fighting for the wrong side for far too long. Join me." He held out his hand toward his sister. "We can rule the world together."

Jackson stepped in front of Jiwoo and smacked Jungkook's hand away. "She'll never join you."

"I want to hear it from her."

Jiwoo wrapped her arms around herself as her eyes wandered the ground. What should she do? She bit her bottom lip and looked up at Jungkook. "Jackson oppa is right. I'll never join you."

Jungkook's expression darkened as his eyes hazed over black, their irises flashing a dangerous red. "Wrong answer."

Before anyone could react, Jungkook had jammed his hand into Joonhyuk's chest and pulled out his still beating heart. Everyone jumped back when Joonhyuk's body hit the ground. Jungkook did the same to the other two hunters that had accompanied Joonhyuk and glared straight at Jiwoo. Jackson jumped in front of Jiwoo to protect her, but Jungkook was quick. He threw Jackson to the ground and yanked Jiwoo away from the group by the hair.

"Get them," Jungkook growled to the other rogue vampires that had gathered around before he vanished in the blink of an eye taking Jiwoo with him.
