Chapter 5:

                                     Zack

"No. You must be crazy!" I said it in disbelief. Where on this earth she get that idea? For you to know, the thing she want me to pay her is to be her assistant slash slave. Like the hell? I'm not that fool to deal with her.

"*sniff* you know. You owe me a lot. You were the reason why I suffering this irritating sneeze and you never felt guilty on it." She wiped her nose with the hanky I gave to her. " and I help you lately. Hindi ka nagmukhang kawawa dahil sa'kin."

Sumandal ako sa upuan ko. We're here at the cafeteria to discuss my payment for her. But I don't want the idea to be her slave in a month.I crossed my arms and stare at her. She looked at me too, ngayon ko lang napansin ang mahahaba niyang pilikmata, at ang itim niyang mata. Her cheekbones perfectly fit to her cute little face, and she look cuter of her full bangs. Shit! What did I say? I'm not giving her compliment right?

"Sige ganito nalang. You will be my slave, and I can be your fake girlfriend in return. Deal?" She put her elbows in the table and leaning her face to her crossed hands.

Napaisip ako bigla. Total napakilala ko naman siya as my girl Kay Samantha , so kailangan ko iyong panindigan. But, still I don't like to be her slave. Ugh!

She smile at me sweetly. Oh! Don't you dare to give me that kind of smile.. I hate it.

"Ok. Deal!" I also lean to the table so I can smell her sweet perfume because I'm about 3 inch away from her.

She get the hanky and. "*achoo* *sniff* excuse me." She lean her back to her chair, and wiping her nose that getting red. Cute. "Don't smile like that, it's creepy." And I see her blushing.

Fuck! Did I smile on her? Did I smile? Oh God! Its totally a shame. I look to the other side so I can't see her red face.

"Uy! Ano na diyan? Woah! Good to see you together! So.... Ano na? May commitment na ba?" Drew teasingly smile to us. He sit beside me, at sinisiko ako sa tagiliran.

Zeki and Grey also sit in the vacant chair to the side of the table. Si Zeki naman parang asong ulol sa ngiti niya, habang si Grey still poker faced.

"Hi Zoey!" Zeki Greeted her, while waving.

"*achoo* Hello. *sniff* excuse me." She also waved her hand to Zeki.

"Oowwhsss. So how's your date together?" Drew smile widely. Did he need to ask that thing? Because of that fucking blind date, I'm going to be her slave! Tssk.

"Date? Naaah. *sniff* He ditch me, and I'm sick because of him. I waited him under the rain, *achoo* *sniff*" She give me death glares while saying those words. Isn't it my fault that she was that stupid to wait me even though it's raining? Tsk.

"What?! Seriously Zack? " Zeki asked.

I just rolled my eyes and lean my back to my chair. I don't want to talk too much this time, I'm not in the mood to have some conversation with them with Zoey.

"I see. " Drew get the key of his car from his pocket. What? He is willing to give me his car even I didn't date Zoey. He's a good friend. I smile at him but unfortunately he throw it to Zoey's direction at sinalo ito. "Sorry tol. Deal is a deal."

"Thanks Drew. You have your word, and I hope ang iba diyan marunong din tumupad sa usapan." Then she look towards my direction and smile again to Drew.

"Why are you here?" Grey ask Zoey while staring at her.

"Uhmmm. Me and Zack are planning to have a date again*sniff*. You know he ditch me in our first date so, kailangan ulit maulit." She Grinned at me. What the heck she's saying? We never had a deal like that as far as I know.

"Oh! Talaga tol? Congrats! Hahaha." Drew.

"Well, farewell Samantha na talaga bro?! Yan ang gusto ko! " Zeki.

"Good." Grey.

They are all happy of what Zoey said, and its indeed a lie. What's within them? She want me to play with her? Ok I'll give her the best game she want. Let see if she can win. *Evil Grin*

After my class I go straight to the parking lot and heading to my car. Before I get closer to it, I saw Drew leaning to my car door. What he's doing there?

"Hi tol! Sabay ako pauwi." He said it while smiling widely.

I get the key of my car. "Yan kasi! Binibigay ang sasakyan kaya ayan tuloy walang masakyan!" I hop in to my car, and he also did.

"Ang pangit naman siguro kung dalawang sasakyan dadalhin ko? Alam mo Zack, napapansin ko habang tumatagal nagiging tanga ka! Ganyan ba talaga pag nasasaktan? " I glared at him at nagpeace sign naman siya.

"Baba!" I shouted, and he does do pacute. Yuck! Di bagay.

"Saree na Zack! Di ka naman mabiro. Ikaw talaga!" Drew pouted, ako naman napangiwi.

I just shook my head, and start the engine. I drive through the nearest coffee shop, where Jacky is there. She texted me earlier to fetch her, co'z she don't want to commute. Or should I say, she don't have enough money. Di siguro binigyan ni mommy.

"Coffer shop.? Ililibre mo'ko tol? Sala---"

"Asa!" I cut the words of Drew, then he just make face.

I was supposed to call Jacky but, there is unregistered number texted me .

Where the hell she get my number?

"Ahh.. Before I forgot, Zoey ask for your number. Then, as a supportive friend, I give it to her." Drew smile at me innocently and it made me burst into irritation.

Pahamak ka talaga Drew! Tsk. I did not reply her, or even save her number. I just deleted her text, and call my sister. It's ringing but, she doesn't pick her phone. I look into the exit door of the coffee shop seeing if Jacky will came out.

And finally I saw her coming out through the door with, what? Why they are together? She's with Samantha.

They kiss each others cheeck and waving goodbye. Samantha gaze in our direction as Jacky walk towards us. Bumaba naman si Drew sa sasakyan at pinagbuksan si Jacky. I can hear Drew greeted Jacky and she greeted him too.

"Hi Kuya. I'm with Samantha she, still nice. We have a long conver---"

"Shut up. She's not." I cut off Jacky's word. Then I start the engine.

I hear Jacky whispered sorry. She know what happen to us, they're close. But, unfortunately she didn't know why all of a sudden Samantha do that to me.

I don't care about them. I don't care Samantha. Life must go on, like what they've said hurt is just a piece of trial that everybody could surpass. And here I am taking one step at a time in accepting the reality.
