She's been gone for a while today. I don't know what's going on, but I'm starting to worry. What will happen to me if she doesn't return? I know that time runs at a different pace down in Hell, so it could be forever for me before she returns.
What if I die before she comes back? Can you die in Hell? I have no idea. I need to see her. I pace the room, feeling scared and confused. If only she had a cell phone or something so I could contact her. I wonder how good the cell service is down here. I finally fall onto the bed and stare at the ceiling. It feels like forever, but I find myself drifting away to sleep.
I don't dream.
When I wake up, she's still not back. I have no idea what time it is or how long she's been gone. I look around the room. I go over to the closet and look inside. The clothes are all either black or red. I look through everything for lack of anything better to do. It's incredibly boring without her here with me.
I wait. And I wait. It feels like literal days. I'm hungry. I make the bed five times. I feel like I'm going crazy.
And when I feel as though I'm going to go absolutely insane, she walks through the door.
"You're back!" I exclaim loudly, running over to her. She looks a little beaten up, as if she'd been in a fight.
"Hey," she says, sounding tired. I throw my arms around her, and she groans slightly. She doesn't push me off, though.
"Are you okay?" I question, looking to her face.
She lets out a breath. "Fine. Just a little demon business." She looks...different. As if she now knows something she shouldn't.
"Are you sure? We can talk about it. I'm here for you," I blabber, and she smiles slightly.
"Did you miss me?" she asks, ignoring what I just said.
"I missed you so much."
"Could you live without me?" she questions, and I shake my head fervently.
"I could never."
"Do you want to go back to Earth?"
"What? Without you?"
"With me, of course. What would I do without my pet?" she smirks, and my heart skips a beat.
"I'd love that. Please don't leave me like that again," I beg, and she smiles. Did she actually plan this?
"It's settled, then," she says, again ignoring what I said. "I'm going to go talk to my brother and get him to set up a place for us."
"You're going to leave me again?" I ask desperately, feeling frantic.
"Just for a little bit. It won't be long, I promise."
"Can't you take me with you?"
"But then you might run away," she says, her voice teasing.
"I would never."
"Mmm I don't know, my pet." She pats my cheek lightly.
"Please."
"How much do you want it?" she asks, her eyes glinting dangerously.
"So much."
"Show me how much you want it," she replies, and I swallow nervously.
"Show you?"
"Mhmm. Show me how much you want to be with me."
"How do I do that?" I ask slowly, and she smirks.
"Well, you can start by taking off your clothes."
