''Jamie's phone rings''

Jamie- mmmh *yawn* *click*

Jamie- hello?

violet-(good morning jamie)

Jamie- good morning cupcake

Violet-(cupcake? Really Jamie...)

Jamie- do you have a nickname for me?

Violet-( my little vamp wolf)

Jamie- ahaha you can't be serious

Violet-(but I am, so what are you doing?)

Jamie- about to make breakfast

Violet-(nice)

Jamie- do you want to come over?

Violet-(sure i'd love to)

As I was talking to Violet I was preparing the food. If you wondering what I made here is a list below including the ingredients.

1. rice porridge

2. Mini sausage octopus

3. miso soup

4. natto without a horrible smell

The ingredients

(Rice porridge)-150g cooked rice

2 cups water

2 eggs (beaten)

4 umeboshi (dried plums)

Shio kombu (salted kelp) to taste

1. Put the water and cooked rice in a pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let simmer for 30 minutes. (If starting with raw rice, use 7 to 10 cups of water for each cup of rice, and adjust the cooking time.)

2. Just before removing from the heat, pour in the 2 beaten eggs, stirring the porridge as you do so.

3. Divide into bowls, top with umeboshi, and serve.

(Mini sausage octopus)-

3 (Japanese sausages are typically this size)6 white and black sesame seeds (roasted/toasted)

Japanese sausages are typically 3 inches, if your sausage is longer, cut sausage to 3 inches in length. Holding sausage sideways and slicing all the way down one side. Rotate 90 degrees and slice again. Now the sausage has 4 "legs".

Cut again between slits and you will end up with 8 legs. Hold the sausage so that the slits don't open up when you slice through.

In a small frying pan, heat a little bit of oil and cook sausages on medium heat. When the sausages are cooked through and the "legs" start to open up, remove them from the heat and serve or pack in a lunch box.

Add sesame seeds for octopus eyes.

(Miso soup)-

2 teaspoons dashi granules4 cups water3 tablespoons miso paste1 (8 ounce) package silken tofu, diced2 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1/2 inch pieces

In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine dashi granules and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and whisk in the miso paste. Stir in tofu. Separate the layers of the green onions, and add them to the soup. Simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes before serving

Cook: 15 min

Ready: 20 min
