Chapter 6: My Heart Has Room for More to Love

We start our story in the boys' locker room. They are getting changed before they start gym class and currently almost no one is doing that. Everyone but, Nolan who is doing his job and changing into his gym clothes. As for everyone else, they are all huddled over Xander watching the video he did with Anna a couple of days ago.

Everyone is surprised that Xander managed to win over Anna after she was so insistent that she doesn't like him. Some people don't believe it and others are all for it. Xander and Anna's acting is so good it could be believable. Without really knowing the context, one could think that the guy she is talking about is Nolan.

"I can't believe that Anna came around to liking you." One of the guys said. Man, this school wants people to "Stick to the status quo".

This perks up Nolan's ears. Nolan and Anna have been getting closer lately. The bond while taking care of Kammy and just hanging out together while she sleeps. So hearing that Anna is dating Xander is bizarre to his ears.

Nolan slowly makes his way closer to the crowd, trying to see if he can figure out more about what is going on. As he got to the crowd, Xander notices Nolan and pushes his way closer to him. Without a word, Xander smirks and shows a picture of him and Anna cuddling on the couch together (Xaelah was doing a tv watching scene and accidentally took a picture). Then he goes on to show pictures and videos of them together. Each one having Nolan feeling more betrayed.

He tried to think of reasons for these pictures to exist, but unfortunately, he doesn't know all of the details to justify it:
-Anna used to do theater (it was never brought up)
- She was even with Xander that day (she didn't want to let Nolan know so he wouldn't worry)
- Xander had a little sister who aspires to be a playwright and admires Anna's acting

Nolan never thought that Anna would turn like this. He almost couldn't believe the pictures at all. There must be some explanation for them. This isn't the Anna he came to know and love. However, he still feels a bit betrayed. What if this is all true?

"It is about time you get with the program, nerd. She is with me now." Xander gloats and leaves to finish changing his clothes. Nolan stands there with questions about Anna's behavior. They are not officially dating so, can he say that she is cheating on him? Was she just playing with his heart?

Nolan goes throughout the day with these questions swirling in his head. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that he doesn't truly know Anna's feelings for him. The videos and pictures are making him more confused each minute of the day.

Meanwhile, the video that Anna and Xander did together is getting spread throughout the school. Rumors arise about Anna is being a two-timer (since she has been seen a lot with Nolan), others being that she finally gave in to Xander, or that she was playing with Nolan's feelings.

These rumors would circle until they reached Anna's ears. While walking into lunch, people gossiped and they watched Anna as she made her way to the table that she sits at with Nolan. Nolan wasn't at the table, but other people usually sit there during lunch are there.

Anna sits down at the table and looks around in confusion. Almost everyone is watching her and seeing what she would do. Some questioned why didn't she sit at Xander's table since they are dating. Others wondered if she was shameless enough to blatantly be cheating on both guys.

Wondering what was going on, Anna asks the girl sitting next to her, "Do you know why I am the talk of the town today?"

The girl raised her eyebrows, she is surprised that Anna doesn't know what is going on and she is directly involved, " There is a video going around. You are now dating Xander."
