Ash's POV
"Dang," I️ said to myself, looking in the mirror,
"I️ should've done this awhile ago."
I️ went through my normal morning routine and headed down for breakfast. My mom, Delia, making something big because I'm always hungry.
"You look great, honey," she said, ruffling my now short hair. "I️ can't wait to hear about what your friends think. My boy is so handsome!" she first pumped.
"Thanks mom," I️ managed, with a mouth full of food. I️ finished chewing, and finished up my breakfast and swung my bag over my shoulders. "Alright, I'm headed off now mom, see ya!" I️ yelled.
When I️ got to the bus stop, Gary was standing there, looking confused.
"Sup Gary," I️ said.
"Uh, do I️ know you? You kinda look familiar," he said, a puzzled look still on his face.
"Uhh.. It's me, Ash. Guess I️ really do look different then," I️ said, eyebrows raised.
"Bro, you look awesome! Ashy-Boy's gonna get ALL the ladies!" he exclaimed,
Oh, him and his girls. That and memes are all he ever thinks about. But he was right. Some girls were glancing at me and giggling and whispering to their friends. I️ even got a few glances from Serena.
After a bit more talking, the bus arrived so Gary and I️ got on. A few girls asked to sit with me but I️ politely declined them since I️ was sitting with Gary. When we got to school I️ got even MORE stares from girls. I️ heard whispers like "He's so hot!" and "Is he a new student?" I️ ignored them all, they didn't seem important to me. It was pretty funny though because Pikachu thought the girls were referring to him, so he was acting all cocky and puffing
his chest. Gary and I️ had to go our separate ways since we didn't have the same class this period. I️ had history and he had evolution. I️ walked into history and the first person I️ looked at was Serena. Man, she's a pretty sight. But for the first time ever, she was looking back at me, eyebrows raised.
Serena's POV
That's Ash? He looks so.. different! He cut his hair short and his braces came off. His new outfit suits him well too. To be honest, he was pretty.. handsome actually. No. Really handsome. I️ blushed at the thought of that. Did I️ really just think he was handsome?
