*Baekhyuns pov*
I had just entered the doors of my college and as soon as I entered I heard my name being called out well more like yelled out. And of course it was Park Chanyeol Aish I swear this guy can't live without me. I laugh to myself and he makes his way towards me. 'Baek. Where were you. I thought that you had died atleast answer my phone calls' he says to me as I gave him a skeptical look
'Park Chanyeol you idiot I swear we last met only about 7 hours ago when u had finally decided that it was time for you to go home after our study session' I say and he laughs sheepishly. 'Ok ok. But I was worried of course I didn't want my best friend to die now do I' chanyeol said and I felt a pang in my heart
'friend' the word echoed in my brain 'now let's go we'll be late for class'he said as he took off running with me. 'Well dome Baekhyun. You just got friend zoned' I mentally facepalm to myself.....
*lunch time*
'Aahhh such a long day it isn't even ending' Chan said as he plopped down next to Baekhyun 'ne Baek Want some chicken?' He asked as Baekhyun agreed happily. As he took a bite of it Chanyeol did the same. ' I swear Mina makes the best chicken ever'Chan said with his mouth full of chicken Baek stopped eating and looked at him 'who is Mina?' I asked 'o no one just one of the prettiest girls on this planet' Chan said as he continued eating.
'Ouch. That hurt'
Baek thought to himself and quickly got up. Chanyeol looked at him surprised 'Hey where are you going?' He asks "I'll Be back" Baekhyun said as he quickly left the cafeteria.
Tears threatened to fall from his eyes as he mentally scolded himself ' why are you so stupid Byun Baekhyun he obviously doesn't likes you like the way you do' He was hurt but it was not chanyeol fault. It was his own.
*The Next Day*
As the memories of the previous day went through Baekhyuns head he couldn't help but feel sad. He hadn't replied to any of chanyeols calls or texts and he knew that he would be pretty worried about him but the sadness he felt was too much and he couldn't even bear to hear his voice now.
Baekhyun entered the college building and made his way to his locker. As he was walking towards it he heard someone shout 'Oi Byun Idiot Baekhyun'
Baekhyun mentally cursed and slowly turned to see who it was and well enough it was chanyeol. He looked worried and angry as he walked towards him.
'You idiot!where the hell were you!'
He yelled at him and Baek looks down. 'Do you even know how worried i was. You could've atleast answered my calls or texts!' He shouted at Baekhyun and Baek just looked down. He couldn't build up the courage to lookin at chanyeol in the eye.
'Excuse me Chanyeol. I need to leave for class'Baek said as he turned around and left quickly leaving behind a very confused Chanyeol.
That day Baekhyun did his best and avoided chanyeol as much as he could. And that evening as he was walking home he felt someone come behind him and roughly turn him around 'you are not leaving until we talk what's wrong' it was chanyeol. He looked angry and determined. 'There is nothin to talk about Chanyeol' Baek said as he turned to leave but Chanyeol quickly grabbed his arm. 'O really. Nothing huh. Then why the hell have you been ignoring me'Chanyeol said as he gripped his arm. 'Let me go chanyeol there is nothing as such' Baek said as he tried to pry off his arm. 'Byun Baekhyun. I mean it tell me what is bothering you.' Chan demanded and Baekhyun lost it 'YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS WORNG. I LOVE YOU DAMMIT THAT IS WHATS WRONG!!'
Silence.......
A very very awkward silence filled the atmosphere. Chanyeol looked surprised where as Baekhyun was a mess. 'I-I I'm sorry it's ok if you don't fell the same. I know it's stupid I'm sor-'Baekhyun is that really how you feel?' Chanyeol asked as he looked at Baekhyun. Baekhyun looked down and sighed and said 'yes'
