Patrisha ran, because that is all she can do. She ran and cried. She looked behind her and saw no one. Shane wasn't following her. She stopped in her tracks. She fought the battle in her head. Will she come back? As she looked ahead she can see the glimpse of the gate. The exit gate! Her heart thumped. She can leave this hellish place. She can save herself and her friends.
