"Mom, do you have your passport? Where are your tickets? Are your Kindle and iPod fully charged? Do you have a light jacket, you know you get cold on the plane, and it's a long flight! What about Eeyore, are you taking him to use as a pillow? Do you have enough money? Where's the address to your flat? Do you know how to get there?" Elizabeth and Nicole were both shooting these questions at Samantha at rapid fire pace, it was hard to get a word in. "You do realize that I'm the Mother, right?" Liz and Nic both looked at Sam as if she had just grown 5 more heads. "Seriously, you know I love the both of you, but you're driving me crazy right now!" They looked at her with the same expression that she has seen from them since she decided to go to London, with both sadness and anxiety mixed with excitement. Even though they all had agreed that this was what Sam needed to do, they were both still trying to work out the logistics of it all in their minds.

The plan was, Sam was going to go to London for the first month and a half of summer, while the girls were going to stay with their Dad and step-mom. After that, they were going to join Sam in London and see where things would go from there. Sam really wanted to stay as long as possible, her and Larry never had the chance to go to Europe, although they had always talked about finally leaving all the kids and going. Now that Larry was gone, Sam didn't ever get to see her 4 step-children. She missed them, but their mother had always hated Sam, and that wasn't going to change anytime soon.

"Girls relax, I have everything taken care of, I promise. Now can we please enjoy our last night together and go eat already?" To be honest, Sam had been slowly packing her things for the last month. She had already sent the things that she knew she couldn't live without (books, movies, clothes, computer, games, x-box) last week, and the gentleman that was leasing out the flat to her was going to sign for them and have them waiting for her when she arrived.

"OK Mom are you ready to go, seeing as this is your last night eating authentic American food for a while?" Liz asked. All three of them looked at each other for a split second, before they all said in unison "STEAK!"
