Chapter Four: The phoenix Awakes (Declan)

I was a bit wary of Neve finding the crew so soon especially with her background of her family being from the special branch of the Navy she is a girl of sixteen with chocolate brown hair deep blue eyes and a grin that spelled KEEP ME AWAY FROM LOOSE CHANGE AND WALLETS, she wore scratched up clothes a leather jacket a plain green top and a wolf pendant on her neck. When she said she'd like to hear the tale of how i met these three and how they came to the island i relaxed a bit, in my line of work i was always wary of the customers i dealt with I've dealt with bounty hunters, renowned pirates, maniacs who call themselves sailors and even half-lings every one of them would've stabbed me in the back given the chance, some have tried but if that happens i show them my staff from my ancestors and they back down pretty quickly but to make sure i don't get scammed again i find out there story before i promise them anything so by doing that Neve relaxed my nerves and so the others told her there tale of Escaping the marine base, and fining me in the tavern she was a good listener and by the end of the tale she actually said "you have a slight chance of me joining, you help me with a little debt i owe then i'll join" and so they went forth to the seediest Tavern keeper in town this weasel of a man was called Franky fox-ton, a man so vile and despicable he'd rob his mothers flowers from her grave if he needed to, and that was in a good mood, anyway we had to see him because apparently Neve was cheated fifty Diari for a room she bought but was kicked out the next day for no reason other than 'she was bad for business' "Listen bud, I wouldn't be hanging around with her, she got bad news written all over here, best get rid of her, if not will you take my son at least so he can straighten out on the sea" Franky said "and if you do this for me we can forget the Diari" and so with that we got two new crew mates Neve and the other was called Eric, he had brown hair blue eyes  and wore a black overcoat, he had a gun strapped to his back and two at his side, when Annan asked him what he could do he transformed into a magnificent blue bird that resembled a Phoenix and flew around us and landed down next to Oliver, giving him an insta tan (lucky bugger.) After that we went down to the high street and with what Diari we found in the hold of Crimsons Kiss we each got some new clothes Annan got a red leather trench coat, some jeans and a stripped shirt, Oliver got a navy blue blazer, a white shirt with a navy blue tie and trousers to match, Kieran got a leather jacket a white shirt a blue sash for his waist and black trousers, Ernie got a blue jacket and a plain shirt, neve got a wolf shirt and some new ripped jeans, I decided to save my gold for ship materials. After our shopping trip Annan, Oliver and Kieran talked to Neve if she would still join the crew after experiencing weird antics on the way to the shops "Aye I will be as long as I get equal portions in whatever loot we get" she looked like she was going to say more until she was interrupted by a cannon blast aimed at the dock. We ran down the quayside before we reached the dock to find Crimsons Kiss in flames and rapidly sinking and a group of men stood in front of it walking toward the town weapons in hand and bloodlust in their eyes. A lone figure stepped forward out of the group he had a scarred face, brown hair green eyes that resembled swamp water and a voice that could scrape barnacles off a boat "My name is Captain Herbert Arskissus, I'm here for your gold, jewels and anything of value, I'm also here to find David Tattershall's Whelp" and all I remember before getting hit with a stray club is all hell breaking loose
