PROLOGUEThis was the second time I was being summoned to attend a meeting with the Seraphim.
I knew that the other angels didn't like me very much and that they would never want me in one of there meetings. I was summoned by Him. He wanted me there. So I left my chair and went.
I don't know, maybe its because I resemble a fallen angel with my black and silver feathers or that I'm always wearing a black hood, or maybe its because I've taken the lives of thousands.
Don't know why that should bother them though...I mean more souls to heaven right?
Anyway, being the Angel of Death doesn't really make me popular with any of the lower Choirs and I'm pretty sure the Seraphim hate me.
But there I was, floating in the middle of the Kingdom in front of The Great Hall waiting for the Seraphim to call me in.
"You are Death?" a Seraphim who was named Sophie asked and appeared in front of me. I nodded and followed her.
"Do I not look like Death?" I asked her while removing my hood.
"I was expecting someone more..."She hesitated
"Male maybe? Like the Prince of Angels." I said, she nodded. "I should warn you, he is not in the best of moods right now."she said.
"And why is that?" We were standing in front of the door and I could hear someone yelling on the inside.
She flicked her gloved hand and the door swung open. Five members of the Seraphim were sitting around a table while Michael, the greatest of all angels, stood at the end.
He looked up.
"Take a seat Sophie." Michael said but looked at me. I scanned the room. Gabriel and Raphael sat on either side of Michael. Castiel beside Gabriel.
"You were called on by Him to join us in our mission. I Don't know why. But it was not my decision and I do not question it. We leave to earth in four days" He said to me darkly.
