Accept or Reject?

Chapter 1

Ritsuka's POV

I watched as the rosy pink blossoms flew by me. I smiled gently at the sky and carefully placed the crown charm Rem gave me loosely around my neck. I tiredly sighed as I realized that I need to get to school and fast. I only had five minutes till I had to be in class and a ten minute walk ahead of me. Late. Again.

I got to class sweat beaded my forehead and quickly took my seat. I knew right away that everything was different, the girls that normally would talk about Rem and other student council members, were talking about other issues. I was slightly confused but then again the student council was made of devils so, of course, when they left all evidence of their existence was erased. Almost like they were never here.

 I was accidentally bumped by someone. I looked up from my seat, a little startled, to see Mizuki Sato. Just my lucky day.

I opened my mouth to apologize but before I could say anything he interrupted me with a swift comeback. "Why don't you watch where you are going."

'It was an accident and I was sitting...'

"You should at least a apologies for bumping into me." When he spoke down to me a thick metal rod that could not be broken easily snapped in my head. When I looked up at him, I saw something that was a little disturbing. I saw what looked to be an orb of light. It was glowing crimson.

'Is that his soul...?'

'Yes, but for now be careful and tread lightly he's dangerous and should be handled with precaution. One wrong move on this devil and he'll kill everyone in this entire school.'I jumped, startled by the new voice that seemed to be louder than all of my current thoughts combined but what scared me more was that it sounded like...Mine!

'Who are you?'

'You will know soon enough. But right now, that glowing red orb is his soul.'

'Okay sure, but why can I see it? I thought all the devils left and why is it glowing red exactly?'

'It's glowing red because he is feeling a very strong negative emotion that he isn't used to  and some chose to stay here, why you can see it will be explained soon.'

'But how long until-' I was snapped out of my thoughts when I was shoved out of my seat, my head held to the floor by the bottom of his grimy dust covered indoor shoes. 

"Did you hear me or are you deaf freak?"

'Don't worry. I'll take care of him.' The next thing I knew I pushed his leg off of me and flipped him onto his back. The sudden strength and rage I felt coming out of nowhere. I could feel the fright radiating off of Mizuki.

"Listen to me bitch when I say this. I was sitting you fuckwad you should be the one apologizing and you put your filthy shoes on my head. Now I want you to go to the front of the class and apologize for your extremely rude behavior and treat your classmates horribly. Got it?"

Mizuki nodded his head quickly.

"Good." I felt a smirk appear on my face. "Now be a good bitch and get it done." Mizuki scrambled to his feet and raced to the front of the class and made a short but sincere apology. I felt a proud smile appear on my face again. I slowly regained control over my body and took my seat once again sitting more bunched up in my seat.

'Sorry... I went a little overboard on handing that.'

'It's not ok. You threatened him and I don't do that'

'Not yet anyway.'

'What?!'

'Everything will be explain soon.'

'Why do you keep saying things will be explained soon?'

'You will see later. Trust me.'

That hit a little nerve. Seeing how I was lied to my entire life. 'How do I know I can trust you?'

'I am the one person who cannot lie to you and you can tell when In am lying.'

'How can I tell when you are lying to me?'

I a small agitated sigh. 'Because I am you. I am your worst nightmare and your beast dream. Have you forgotten that you are half devil, half human already?'

'Oh... I guess I did forget.'

'Anyway, you can't go home after school.'

'Why not?'

'Trust me when I say you don't want people around you later today.'

'What going to happen later today?'

'I said too much. But trust me. Please.'

'Ok, but-' I was cut off by the professor walking into the room. He sighed and slammed his books onto the table saying something about how we should take out our textbooks. Everyone stopped automatically talking and started taking notes.

"Ok class, you are dismissed!" Everyone packed up their stuff and left for the day. "Miss. Tachibana, I did not receive your project. Do you have time to talk now?"

"WHAT!? But I did turn my project in..." I huffed.

"Well I don't have it. So again do you have time to talk?"

"No family business. Sorry." I lied right through my teeth. That's never happened before... 'What is happening?' Silence. 'Bitch.'

That is the end of Chapter 1. Chapter 2 will be up on New Years. Or maybe I will do both a Christmas and New Years special. I don't know. I will think about it.
