I couldn't believe it.

A guard was already stationed by the door and there was no other way out. I didn't think they would be arriving to their stations so soon. Now, there I was, with a key that would be discovered missing, a guard who could potentially catch me, and with people who would be in and out to check on Peter Pan. I was going to get into so much trouble.

I looked around frantically for some escape route that maybe I didn't notice before. A chimney, vent, secret passage, something!

I felt a bead of sweat trickle down my face and wiped it away, running my hands over the objects on the table and shelves. Was there anything that could help me?

I heard the disney music beginning to play through the speakers outside, indicating that the gates would be opening soon. I groaned out loud, my voice being drowned out by Peter's as he began coughing again. The confinement was making me feel cramped. I took deep breaths to calm myself as I looked around me. The lightbulb flickered slightly and my breath hitched as it flicked off for a moment. Once it was back on, I exhaled. That was when I realized that the switch was right behind me and I was leaning on it.

Classic.

A small, unusual sack on a shelf caught my attention. It had a small note attached to it. I moved forward to pick it up. It felt like sand was inside. I turned the note over to read it.

Under observation for possible use as weapon against boy.

I opened the tiny sack and peeked inside. They thought glitter could have made those wounds? I scoffed at the thought before reaching into the sack and dipping my finger into the glitter. I grabbed a little handful and pulled it out to examine. It was a shimmering gold. It must have arrived with Peter.

Voices outside the door caused me to panic and I pressed myself against the shelf, my body tensing. No one seemed to be trying to get in. It must have been the voices of the visitors who had come to spend their day at ComplexDisney.

Just as I began to move away from the shelf, gold dust suddenly entered my vision. I blinked as some landed on my eyelashes. All I could see was a stream of glitter falling around me. Shoot. I spilled the sack when I bumped the shelf!

I boltrd away from the shelf and tried to wipe the glitter off of me. The rest of the glitter rested on the floor, shimmering in the dim light. I blew a few shimmering bits off of my lips before closing my eyes to wipe some glitter off of the back of my eyelids. As I tried to wipe it off, I suddenly felt myself tiptoeing, but against my will.

I snapped my eyes open and a shriek began to leave my lips. I clamped a hand over my mouth to keep from being heard as I flipped upside down and found myself pressing into the ceiling.

That glitter was pixie dust?!

I forced myself to take deep breath to calm myself. I used my feet to push off of the edge of the shelf. Just the small push sent me spiraling toward the door. I gasped and instinctively flailed out before my body made contact with the wall above the door. I winced and rubbed my shoulder.

How do I stop this?

Wait...this could help me get out. I used a small nail in the wall to grab so I could shift my body around. I gave the wall a gentle nudge, softer than the last one, and found myself sailing smoothly toward the ground since that was the direction I had my feet angled when I kicked off again.

I twisted my body upward and gave a small laugh as my angle moved so that I floated beneath the table instead of colliding with the floor. As I did a sharp turn in a backward somersault, I kicked off of the wall once again to gather some more speed. I stretched my arms out as if I was on a tight rope to help with the balance as I glided around the room.
