Chapter 4: Anna

Now since they left and everyone else wanted to go home after what went down. I don't blame them either. I would be going home too.

"Psss. Anna."

Looked around to see where the voice was coming from. My eyes landed on Kat hiding behind a tree.

"What?"

"Is it safe to come out now?"

You know that look you give people that ask a stupid question. Yeah I was giving her that look.

"Yessss. It's safe to come out. It's not like my Dad is going to eat you."

She came from behind the tree skipping right towards me.

"You know your Dad is really bad ass, right? I can't help remembering of that boy pushed you and pee on himself. He was 14 omg! That taught him a lesson."

I was smirking at the memory.

"Well he shouldn't have pushed me. It was my favorite dress too. My mom made it just for me."

A tear ran down my cheek.

I shake my head to stop thinking about the memory. My father was dismissing his class. The next class will start in half an hour. By then what happened here will be all over the pack. I sigh.

My father came over.

"Hey hun. Thank you for helping me with the class. You can go home."

"Ummm Dad. You know I told you before that I was not going to the Ball. Now I am going with Kat."

At first my father was shocked then he was smiling. He look happy; he looked like he was about to cry. He lean down and hug me.

"My beautiful girl finally decided to go to the Ball. Are you sure?"

He let me go and take a step back to get a good look on my face.
"Yes. I'm sure Dad. After all it will be my debut in the pack."

I smiled at my Dad. If it was not for Kat I would have skip it again.

"All right. If you need me I will be a mind call away if you need me."

"I will. I promise."

Kat put her arm over my shoulder.

"Don't worry Mr. McCall I got this."

My father eye twitch when she said this.  I guess he don't believe her with the track record she has. It will take me 3 days and 3 nights to explain why. Just know when Kat is involved disaster follows.

"Ok. Just be careful you two. Leave your stuff here; I will take it home."

"Thanks Dad."

Me and Kat start running towards her aunt store. Hopefully she got mask for us to wear with the dress. I want to look beautiful and mysterious. Tonight I want to see how it feels to be a full wolf instead of being treated like I don't matter.

I try not to get my hopes up, even if I do find my mate at the Ball. I probably be rejected on the same day.

Let me explain what's going down tonight. Every unmated in the werewolf community are invited. Once you find your wolf. You can attend to find your mate. The come of age in finding your wolf is 18. 

Lucky me I found mine at 23. Kat found her's at the age pf 18. She said she would wait for me. She is a great friend, well my only girlfriend. Not in that why.

The chance of finding your wolf is 30%. Some half wolf only get the increase strength and sense but not the wolf. Some favor their human parent.

The other part of the Ball is for every Alpha in the U.S to attend on updating their pack to the Alpha King. Whether it is the birth of a new member to the pack, death of one, and mating.Also the movements of the Rogues in the territory.

Did I forget to tell you that Ball last for week. It will give every unmated wolf a chance to look for their mate. Also get to know their mate. Finally the paperwork on where the new mated partner transfer to.

Also the big event at the end of the week. Every year is a surprise.

Well that all information I am giving to you guys for now. After all I don't know what going to happen after this.

Next time you see me I will be on my way to the Ball with Kat. Cross your fingers.
