Chapter4

*Matti's Point of view*

Well its been about 2 weeks since Connor broke up with me. I really like Connor in a way I've never liked anyone. Ive tried talking to him but i think the guilt is eating him alive I've been over there just to check on him and his mom said he hasn't been out of his room in a week, great. I really like him i shouldn't push him to do anything.

"Matti you gotta get up sometime", Dylan said from the door, it was 1 in the afternoon.

"Go away baby brother and wipe that smirk off your face before i throw this pillow at you", I threatened from my bed, he snorted.

"Dylan leave her alone", William finally said from his bed. He wasn't the one to stand up for me usually but he was annoyed with people coming in the room. Dylan left but Titus came in and closed the door.

"Matti i know your awake and i need you to get up", He said quickly. i could sense urgency in his voice but i mean there isn't a reason to get up i haven't moved in days i probably smell.

"Titus she's not budging for anyone not even me", William said as i felt him look over at me then whisper something.

"Matti theres something wrong with Connor", Will whispered sadly. I shot out of bed and into the bathroom, i took my phone with me.

"Titus you gotta go over there now i will get Matti there as soon as i can", I heard william said as he got dressed too. i heard the door shut. I heard Katy in the room.

*20 minutes earlier in Connor's point of view*

"Dude you have to get out of bed its just Matti Bly", David said over my bed. Like he's gonna be able to get me out of this bed, I've been cutting because everyone won't leave me alone. I'm also depressed because of my friend hurting himself so thats what I've been doing at night. I haven't eaten in like 3 days maybe, i haven't showered in a week, and i haven't talked to anyone in 2 weeks.

"CONNOR FUCKING KIDDING ME", i heard him say as he grabbed my wrist i sighed and did nothing. David started to freak out, he got me out of bed and washed the cuts then put some of my moms concealer on them so if my parents come in they wouldn't notice. he took the blades i had in my room and threw them out the window, I just watched him freak out.

"Connor you know this isn't healthy at all. You know Matti wouldn't want you doing this and you know that if Titus was here he would tan your ass", David said while making sure nothing breakable was in my room, i got up and went into my car and drove off, David just tried to run after me but he couldn't get to me in time. I kept driving until i got to a cliff, i dangled my feet off the cliff. I texted titus and told him bye forever, I just sat there i was still deciding but i didn't move till night when no one could hear my screams.

*30 Minutes after that in Matti's point of view*

"OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH", I couldn't stop saying with tears coming down my face. we drove as fast as we could, i couldn't believe it...... He was depressed with his friend and i didn't even know man i could have helped him but no i just had to stay away. when we got there titus was near Connor's car trying to talk to him.

"Anything?", William asked as Titus shook his head. I looked over to see Connor just sitting there on the cliff not moving.

"Connor?", I heard someone say, i looked around to see no one other than David. i mean i hate david but i feel so bad for him right now thats his best friend.

"David go away i told you all i want to see right now is Matti", He replied as David looked at me, I sighed and walked over and tapped his shoulder, he looked up at me and started to cry. i knelt beside him and hugged him, Titus looked like someone punched him in the stomach, David looked so worried and like he was gonna cry, Katy was holding onto Will like if she didn't she would die, and Will looked at me like don't die with him please.

"Connor you need to come home", I said calmly as i looked at his tear stained face. He touched my cheek and rubbed it a little.

"Matti i know but life is so bad, My friend died this month and my other friend is cutting", He said as i looked down at his wrists to see he has been too. I rubbed the concealer off his cuts and i kissed each one.

"Connor look i still want you here and all the people here right now want you to live. my family = your family they all love you just like they love me. I wish that you would see that i wish you would see that theres so many people looking out for you", I said and i started to cry, Connor looked into my eyes, he moved his legs from the cliff, stood up and carried me to his car. Everyone hugged him closely and told him they loved him, and then he drove us to my house.

*Rachel's point of view*

I decided to stay home today since Danny didn't want me to go anywhere he was so scared about something and i didn't even notice.

"What do you think he's stressing about?", Dylan asked sarcastically as i pushed him into the wall.

"He's been this way since Matti left and he won't stop you should be worried", I replied and i was about to hit him until i heard the door open and close. I saw something i thought i would never see. I saw Connor with cuts on his left arm and him carrying Matti like she couldn't walk, i saw Katy crying onto William, Titus looking shocked (Which is surprising because he never is), And David actually in the house next to Connor. Even Dylan looked shocked. Danny took Matti from Connor and i could see that it looked like she was crying all over Connor.

"Ok I'm sorry to break this moment but what happened?", me and Dylan asked at the same time.

"Connor was-", Titus was cut off by Danny who just smiled.

"Connor had a problem and Matti here was just helping, it was a really big problem so it involved the rest of the group", Danny said very slow, i know there was something that he wasn't telling us. I guess we're too young to know. We are 12 and 13, guess we'll know later on in life.

*Katy's Point of view*

When i woke up i awoke to Connor with his arms around Matti under the covers of her bed, and Will hanging onto me protectively. i looked at my phone to see it was 1 in the morning, i looked at the ground to see David with a pillow, and i snorted. I looked up at the ceiling and saw glow stars. Man their still like children i thought but it was good they were. I got up carefully and went downstairs to see Danny up with Dylan laying in his lap asleep and Titus on the other side of the couch asleep. I saw that the tv was on with family guy on.

"He wouldn't sleep so i just watch something with him", Danny said which made me jump and him laugh because i was behind him.

"How did you know i was up", I asked as he looked at the tv.

"I grew up listening to small sounds since i have to watch over Matti, William, and soon Rachel and Dylan. They always sneak out and i catch them before they get far", He replied as i sat next to him.

"You know you have always been like another brother to me right?", I said as he looked over at me

"Really?", He asked

"Yeah i never really had any siblings and when i first met Matti and came over here i always felt so loved until your parents died. but when i came over and thought it would be different it never was. and when i met you, you just always welcomed me with open arms even after yall's parents died. so i always think of you as my older brother and the rest of you as my family since my actually family doesn't pay any attention to me", I said but i noticed that that Danny was already hugging me."That is such a good thing to hear from someone like you", He said as he got up and carried Dylan upstairs.
