Maddie

Beep. Beep. Beep.

That's the glorious alarm I had heard to wake me up.

As I opened my eyes I felt a sudden rush of nerves.

Where was I?

Why wasn't I in my bed?

Where's my parents?

Who's.. who's.. that guy?

"Maddie?" The boy replied gently holding my hand.

"H-how do you know my name?" I whispered.

He smiled and gave a light chuckle.

"I'm Josh. You knew me very well, actually we're dating." He replied happily.

"I have a boyfriend?" I asked utterly confused.

He nodded and gave me a hug.

"I'm so happy you're okay!" He smiled.

By my face I think he got the point.

"Oh. You have some memory loss.. but don't worry it'll come back!" He genuinely smiled his white teeth shining.

Although in his eyes.. I saw guilt.

Probably the medication though.

"What happened to me?" I asked looking down at my scars.

"You were in a car accident." He sighed.

"Oh." I replied softly.

I traced one scar with my finger ever so gently.

How long would I have to stay here?

I wanted to go home.

I wanted to get into some pajamas and curl up in my bed watching "Gossip Girl" but instead here I was with half my memory..

I just hope it comes back quick.
