ASHLEIGHS POV:
I woke up around 7 as Jai was coming past at 8, I got changed into my awful school uniform and applied minimal makeup as I like to go for the natural look. I tied my hair into a messy bun and headed down stairs. I hate it how mum works the night shifts at the hospital because I am home alone all night and when I wake up Mum is still asleep. I had a piece of toast and got my lunch ready and headed outside to wait for Jai.
It was 8:10am and so sign of Jai, we have to be at school soon. After about another five or so minutes I saw a figure coming the way Jai comes, but not just one, two. Jai was walking with a girl. He wasnt just walking with a girl, he was holding hands with her. As they got closer u realised who it was. Aimee.
I began to tear up so i decided to make a run for it before Jai came closer and realised i was crying. As i ran i heard Jai calling my name. Shit. Once I got to school it became really hard to avoid Jai. His locker was next to mine and we had every class together. I went to my locker and spotted Courtney and Trent. They were so cute together. Trent wasnt in our class first period today so we went.
"Heyy Court". I say trying to hide up my tears.
"Hey, whats wrong? It looks like youve been crying" she said concerned.
"Ok, so I texted Jai last night and asked him if we were walking together today and he said yes, but he did something he had never done before." I spoke softly into her ear so nobody heard.
"What did he do?" she asked.
"He put a x at the end of the text"
"OMG cute, but why are you crying"
"Well, I was waiting for Jai outside and he was walking with a girl, or should i say holiding hands with a girl, and i wasnt any girl." i said wiping away my tears.
"Who was it?" Court asked
"Aimee." i said bluntly.
Aimee has has had a massive crush of Jai since year 7. As i got my books out of my locker and started walking to class Courtney spoke.
"Do you like jai?"
"Well, i dont wanna wreck the friendship but yea maybe" i said shyly.
I looked back to see if anyone heard because by this stage we were waiting outside the class room that was locked and there he was with this perfectly styled brown hair. Jai.
"Shit." i mumbled under my breathe.
"Hey" Jai said.
Could this day get any worse?
