*Devyn's POV*

As Mia and I were walking around the mall, I got a text from Colby.

Colby: have Mia get a date outfit. Casual but cute. I know you'll be able to pick an outfit. I'm taking her out tonight. Don't tell her.

I sent him an okay and then put my phone away.
"Mia let's get you a cute outfit." I grabbed her hand and pulled her into a store.
"What why?" She asked.
"New cute outfits always help boost a girls confidence." I smiled.
We spent about an hour finding the perfect outfit. I texted Colby to tell him we were on our way home. We got back home and Mia went up to her room to put away the stuff she bought. I ran out back to Colby.
"Okay so now what?" I asked.
"Get her ready for our date. Tell her you girls are going out for dinner. Then meet me at..." Colby told me. An: i don't wanna reveal the location yet.
"Sounds good. What time should she be ready by?" I ask.
"7. I have this all planned so perfectly Devyn." He grinned from ear to ear.
"Okay. I'll go get her ready." I walked inside to Mia.
"Why were you talking to Colby?" She asked.
"I was telling him that I needed you for the night. Corey is busy so I wanna go out to dinner with you. You can wear your new outfit." I smiled. Good save Devyn.
"Sure! Let's go get ready." She said excitedly as we went up to my room.

*Mia's POV*
Devyn and I have spent the past two hours getting ready to go out to dinner. I love her, I'm so glad we are friends. I haven't really seen Colby besides this morning but i just assume he's busy with YouTube stuff.
"We are finally done." Devyn smiled as we looked in the mirror.

We walked downstairs and I didn't see Colby yet again. I texted him.

Mia💋💕: i miss you. let's hangout when i get home from dinner with Devyn?
Mr Brock😎: of course we can.

"Ready?" Devyn asked as she finished texting who I would assume to be Corey.
"Sí. Let's go!" I smiled.
"Where are you ladies headed?" Elton asked.
"We're going out to dinner. I'm gonna hangout with you tomorrow. Let's film a prank." I hugged my brother before we left the house.
"Okay girly. See you in the morning." Elton smiled as we left the house.
We got in the car and jammed out to high school musical songs. We pulled up to the beach.
"I thought we were going to dinner?" I asked, very confused.
"We are. Just put this blindfold on. I promise you'll love the surprise." She handed me a blindfold.
"Okay.." I put it on and she tied it.
She helped me out of the car and we walked for a bit. I felt sand under my feet so I got hella confused. We stopped.
"By now you're probably insanely confused. But get ready. The surprise is here." She said as she took off my blindfold.
I opened my eyes to see a beautiful picnic set up with pizza and wings and peach tea and cookies. But the most amazing part was the boy standing by the picnic he set up.
"Have a good night children. I'm gonna head out for my date with Corey. Use protection." Devyn blew us a kiss as she walked away.
"Colby.. This is amazing. How did you know I like all of this stuff??" I smiled.
"Elton told me. I wanted to make sure everything was perfect for you." He blushed.
"Is this a date?" I looked at him.
"Yes.. I mean.. If you want it to be.." He looked down.
"Of course I do. Let's sit and eat." I smiled.
We sat down and ate as we talked for what felt like hours. We just had the most amazing time. I feel so comfortable around him. He makes me feel safe. I can't thank Elton enough for letting me move in. I am finally happy.
Look at him. The way the colors of the sunset somehow make his eyes even more beautiful. The way the entire world lights up as he smiles. The look in his eyes when we make eye contact. It's a look I've never seen before. A look of love. I can't believe he's been single for so long. I mean don't get me wrong I'm happy he is, but how have girls not seen how amazing he is? He is the best. In the short time I've known him he has become a vital part of my life. I can't imagine it without him.
"Mia?" Colby looked at me, holding my hand.
"Yes Colby?" I smiled.
"I know we've only known each other for a few days but you have become so important to me in those few days. I can't imagine my life without you. Please be mine.." He looked at me, hope flickering in his eyes.
"Oh my god yes please." I kissed his cheek.
"You have no idea how happy this makes me." He grinned.
We laid there just looking at the stars for about half an hour.
"Can we go home? I'm chilly." I asked.
"Of course."
We packed everything up and got in his car. We drove back home.
"MR AND MRS BROCK HAVE ARRIVED!!!" Corey yelled as we walked inside.
I looked at Colby and we both nodded.
"Oh.. About that.. She said no.." Colby looked down.
"Yeah.. It was bad.." I walked up to my room.
A few seconds later Sam came into my room.
"What happened? I thought you guys were good." Sam sat down on my bed.
"Just.. He was talking about some girl the whole time and how much he likes her. Ironically enough her name starts with an M as well." I looked down.
"What was it?" He asked.
"Mia." I giggled.
"OH GOD DANG IT THEY PRANKED US!" Sam yelled.
I laughed and shut my door when Sam left. I changed into sweatpants and a shirt and took off my makeup. I went into Colby's room.
"Hey baby, when are we going public?" I asked.
"In the morning?" He asked as we laid down together.
"Sure. Sounds good to me." I kissed him.
We kissed for awhile. I stopped before it got too hot and heavy. We just laid there and watched movies till we fell asleep.
