You could call me spoiled. I had a perfect life; the mansion, the electronics, the popularity, and the best mom in the world. I plopped down on my sea-shell bed, when my phone buzzed. It was Mark, my brother. He texted "wanna talk? Can we talk? Like, NOW!", I replied, fine, turn on Face time. I turned it on to see my blond haired brother's face. "Hey," he said. "You wanted to talk," I said. Mark exclaimed seriously, "Don't you think Mom and Dad have been acting weird lately?" "You just figured that out?", I rolled my eyes, my brother could over react sometimes. "Look," I said, you can't exactly blame them, I took a deep breath, my brother was probably about to come up with some super weird theory. I inhaled. I smelled smoke. I darted across the room to look out the window. I saw two figures running away from me, the house. There was a man and a women. I watched them while yelling at my brother to get the emergency packs that he always had with him and then to come in my room. The women out the window tripped, her suitcase flying. The man turned towards me to pick up the suitcase. My father. The women picked herself up, my mother. She spotted me at the window, a tear rolled down her face. More and more rivers came gushing towards the ground, and my mother was the source. She yelled something, but I couldn't hear it. My father picked her up and ran even faster. My brother ran into the room, saw my limp body on the floor, causing a puddle of tears. Mark came over to me and said, "Emily, there is something you need to know."
