Chapter 8

Thalia POV

After Valeria collapsed Kira, Diego, Josh, Hunter, Brett and I ran to her. Josh picked her up and we could now leave because his powers now work for some reason. He teleported us back to her house. He set her down on the bed and Diego stayed beside her in just in case. We went to the living room and sat down on the couches.

Thalia: How long do you think Val will be out?

Brett: Only time will tell.

Hunter: Now that Juan is gone we just need to face Kelian.

Josh: But we need to be smart about this. They have the same magics.

Kira: But Val's is a rare type not known to existence.

Aliyah: Yeah. But when she transforms it's like a new her. I don't know how though.

Thalia: Well what ever we do we have to do it for her. We need to protect her. Now that everyone knows she has two magics and one that is rare people will start coming after her.

Josh: Right. We protect her no matter what. Got it?

All of us nod our head and Diego comes out. He still has a look of fury in his eyes.

Diego: What are you guys talking about?

All: Nothing.

He sits next to Josh and we all sit in silence.

All POV

WE WILL PROTECT VAL. NO MATTER WHAT!

Josh POV.

I got up and walked outside when nobody noticed. I was next to the garage when I heard something from the inside of it. I teleported to inside a hiding spot and saw Hunter talking to someone on the phone.

Hunter: Hey it's me. Yeah she's here. She destroyed him. Yes Juan has fallen. I know Kelian. We will destroy her. I have to go before anyone gets suspicious of me. Yes when everyone is asleep I will kill her and make sure she is gone for good. No one will stop us now. I got to go. Bye.

I was shocked. How could Hunter side with Kelian. THAT BASTARD. I teleported back to the house and everyone looked at me.

Thalia: Josh what's wrong?

Josh: WHERE IS VAL?

Thalia: She is still in her room why?

Josh: WHERE IS HUNTER?

Hunter: I'm right here.

I drew my sword and charged towards him. He pulled his sword out and blocked me.

Kira: JOSHUA WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? HUNTER IS OUR FRIEND!

Josh: NO HE IS NOT. HE WAS GOING TO KILL VAL WHEN EVERYONE ELSE IS SLEEPING.

Aliyah: WHY WOULD HE DO THAT?

Josh: BECAUSE HE IS WORKING WITH KELIAN TO DESTROY HER.

Hunter: HOW DID YOU FIND THAT OUT? GRRR. THAT BITCH DESERVES TO DIE.

I keep battling him until I heard the door to Val's room open. I turned around and saw Valeria confused as ever.

Val: Uh. What is going on here?

Thalia: HUNTER IS ON KELIAN'S SIDE AND TRIED TO KILL YOU!

Val: Wait... WHAT?! AFTER I HEALED YOU PROTECTED YOU FROM MY FATHER YOU BETRAY ME AND TRIED TO KILL ME!

Hunter: YOU DESERVE TO DIE.

He knocked me down and charged at her. We all screamed out her name. Diego ran in front of him and blocked his sword.
