The Escape

    "H-h-hello?"Lacy called out nervously. A quiet hissing started up, getting louder. An unearthly howling began, then an inhuman wail added to the choir of ghastly sounds. Lacy's mind whirled, this wasn't supposed to happen. The other girls who'd done this said that nothing had happened. The sounds had risen to the point where she couldn't handle it.

The mirror started vibrating, slowly at first, getting faster. The shadow of a man appeared in the vibrating mirror.Lucy was frozen with terror. Every fibre in her body strained to move, but her brain forced them to turn into stone. The shadow reached out of the mirror,then stepped through.

For the first time, she saw his face. It was a beautiful face.But it was the kind of beautiful that was cold, hard and cruel, like shattered glass. His cocoa-brown face looked ageless, like someone who has existed for centuries. Candyman was a thin, towering, African-American man with white hair that flattened perfectly.His sharp features creased as he smoothed out the suit that he was wearing. The suit itself was terrifying. The blazer was rippling and moving, as if made from the souls he had taken. Around him flew angry bees.

"Lacy, we finally meet" he drawled in a hollow, undead and raspy voice. "Lacy, do you want to come with me?" asked the ancient terror. "No. No. Go away" Lacy managed to spit out. "Ah,but Lacy, after someone has summoned me, I don't leave without them and if I have to leave, I always come back for them. I don't just take their souls, I take all the people close to them. Just like what happened to me" at the end of his dialogue, his voice became wistful. "NO!" Lacy shouted.

Suddenly, the mirror which had been vibrating faster and faster, couldn't take the strain anymore and it shattered. "I must go now, but I will get you. One by one, all those around you who you love will disappear until you will submit yourself to me." With that, he left with a swish of his blazer
