Louis' POV

"Chug, chug, chug!" I hear everyone chanting around me along with the blaring music.

"Heeeeyy!" They cheered as I finished the pint of beer. Well maybe it's my fourth pint, or five? I don't really know and I don't care.

Right now, I'm at the pub with my group of friends. They invited me to go out tonight and I didn't mind. Besides, this is what I always do, hanging out with them every weekend, having fun. It's all good, I think.

"Five more, please!" My friend shouted to the waiter and for a few minutes they gave us more beer.

"On three," Oli commands, holding a beer like the four of us, "one, two, three!"

We take large gulps and simultaneously slammed the glasses on the table.

"Yaaas!" They shouted and high fived. They are all a bit wasted, but me, well I'm still sober.

"Let's have more fun!" They dragged me outside.

I didn't resist and just laughed. I feel pretty numb, but still tried to enjoy the moment.

We wandered around the street and it wasn't that crowded since it's very late at night. While we were getting goofy, we passed by a couple being all romantic. That made me smile, but I remembered something, turning it into a frown.

"Go to your beloved friends, let's see if they care about you!" She angrily shouted.

Another fight, it's always like this. Screaming at each other about me always coming home in the middle of the night. But tonight is different because she's not having it anymore and I'm the same.

"At least they don't complain about every damn thing I do!" I rolled my eyes, turning my back to her.

"Oh really? Then don't come back ever again!"

"Oh believe me, I won't!" I spat as I slammed the front door, leaving without thinking.

There, I realized what, or more like, who has been bothering me. Her.

It's only been two days and it felt like a month without her. And I'm still not trying to make a way to fix things with her.

I check my phone, still no call from her. Why would she call, anyway? It's all my fault and I am such a douchebag.

I went to my messages and composed one, then suddenly Calvin stole my phone.

"What you doin', lad?" He said and looked at my phone.

"Oh, I uh was about to text her and apologize to her." I answered.

"Louis, you don't have to worry about it," he puts his arms around me, "just give her time."

I didn't argue and just nod, giving him a fake smile.

I just went along with them, but I just can't genuinely be happy. All the emotions I'm showing them are all fake.

She still occupies my mind, and realizing that I miss everything about her. I miss her touch, her face, her smile, laugh... I miss her.

I can't take it anymore.

"D'you wanna go for another drink?" They told me, "the night is still long."

This time, I refused. "Sorry, lads."

"Where are you going?" I didn't respond and left them there. I called for a cab and gave the address to the driver.

It only took half an hour to get to our house. I ran to the front porch and knock thrice on the door.

After a few seconds the front door unlock and it revealed the person I love. Without thinking twice, I hugged her real tight.

"Louis.." her voice was soft, like she was longing for this. I am, too.

We stayed like that for a bit. She didn't get mad which I'm thankful for. I thought she was just going to throw me away, since I deserved it for being an ass.

I pulled away and saw her teary eyes looking at mine. I feel bad for doing this to her.

"I'm sorry." I sincerely apologized. Her tear shed, but she just laughed.

"I already forgave you." She smiled at me. "But you have to pay for making me cry."

"I'll do anything." I said.

"Just come back to me, I can't live without you." Her voice cracks which hurt me.

I hug her again, caressing her back.

"I would never leave you, okay?" I assured her, "I'm sorry for being such a douchebag."

She pulled away, "you're maybe a douchebag, but I love you."

I smiled, "I missed you, (Y/N)."

"I missed you too, so much."

I leaned in, filling the gaps between the both of us.
