Great.
So lets look back at what happened the past few weeks:
I signed up for a Talent Quest/Extravaganza.
Found out 'Hollywood's Golden Boy' is living with me for 2 weeks. While also judging the Talent Extravaganza.
My best and only friend is leaving to move to the other side of the planet.
Bummer.
=======TODAY=======
It's the worst day of the week, Monday. Where people make excuses to stay home, children forget homework and I am doing the Talent Extravaganza.
Yay. << Sarcasm intended<<
Elsa stayed for the night to help get rid if my nerves. she isn't doing a very good job. I don't mean to be moody but it's a Monday and it's 5:05am.
I am so not a morning person. That's the understatement of the year.
"HARMONY! It's the big day!" Elsa sang while I cringed. She cannot sing, don't think otherwise.
"I don't wanna go, hmph" I whined, sitting up straight against the head-board of my bed with my arms tightly crossed over my chest.
"Too bad." Elsa poked her tongue at me. "I already have your outfit." Here comes 'stubborn Elsa'.
Knowing I will NEVER win this argument I started walking over to my outfit.
Because we live in Australia we have a uniform, fortunately certain events can intervene with this rule. This 'certain event' is the Talent Extravaganza.
My chosen outfit consisted of a light pink dress that reach my knees, with a think black belt, laced black heeled boots (A/N outfit on the side >>)
"Won't I be recognised?" I ask with doubt piercing my voice.
"Yes, but if you lay low out of the spotlight you won't be. And I am giving you a long black coat that should cover up most of your outfit."
Sounds easy enough, not.
We were about to leave before Elsa put the elephant sized coat onto my tiny, fragile arms.
=======SCHOOL=======
{A/N I do not own anything, the band name 'Tigers On a Leash' I made up on the spot. The song I chose I do not own it.}
Today we have another 'exciting' assembly. Elsa and I walk up to the side-door of the hall. Pushing the door open, we were welcomed by a crowd of people. We began weaving threw the large groups of students in need to find a seat, preferably at the back. Instead we had the last available seats right in the front- this makes my job of 'laying low' a whole new deal harder.
Just when I finished rambling about my bad luck the click-clack of heels against the mahogany (A/N comment if you understand) floorboards. "Welcome, students of Rydell High. I am soooo excited for today! The Annual Talent Extravaganza is up and ready to go!" Chastity squeaked- oops I mean spoke, no I didn't.
After the most interesting and factual lectures on how we should stay in school- sarcasm intended- we headed straight for English.
I am sooo tired...
"Harmony, would you care to enlighten you opinion on this topic?" Mrs Samson questioned kindly, too kindly- the kind where if you weren't looking you would be expecting her to throw you into a lava pit and- ok I think you get the point.
Just when I was about to answer "potatoes" Elsa kicked me and whispered 'Romeo + Juliet's first kiss.'
"Oh, I think personally sharing that kind of affection should not be shown during meeting a stranger for the first time." I rambled nervously, it came out as a question in the end.
