(3 years later)

"Ash we have a surprise for you." My best friends Allexis and Braedan say coming into my office in the office attire which is comfy clothes because i think if you have to work in a office all day i think you should do it in comfy clothes so most of my employees come in joggers and shirts but some like me come in jeans and sweatshirts.

"What is the surprise that you guys have in-store for me." I ask with excitement because hey who doesnt like surprises but not bad surprises.
I said.

"We have three tickets to the masquerade ball for Saturday and we were wondering if you would like the extra ticket so you can come with us and have some fun in your life, so would you like the extra ticket?" Allexis said.

"Yes, i will take the extra ticket to have some fun maybe I'll find my 'prince charming'." I said.

"Yay i told you babe she would come and you didn't believe me so i get a buck from the best wife ever."Braedan said.

"Uhhh fine ill give it to you when we go home jeez your such an annoying husband." Allexis said.

"I know but that is why you married me Allexis." Braedan said.

"Ok Ash let's go dress shopping now get up and we will send the employee's home so come on lets go."Allexis said.

"Fine I'm getting up jeez, Braedan come and help me with your crazy wife."I said.

"Nope this is for pay back for throwing that pie at my face last week because i threw you into the pool so payback is horrible isn't it so let's go dress shopping for Ash this is going to be funny."Braedan said.

"This is going to be a long day uhhhhh."i said.

(Day of the masquerade ball)

"Wow Ash you look really beautiful." Allexis and Braedan said. Ash was dressed in a beautiful white short sleeved white ballgown with a white mask with little diamond's to make it brighten her big dark blue eyes and her dark brown hair was curled to perfection with beautiful diamond clips in her hair, and to top it off Ash has on pure white heels.

"I don't know guys you think this is to much for a dress i look like a cream puff literally a cream puff,I'm thinking of not goi-."

"No you are going and that is final i need my cheerful confident best friend back who would scare everyboy away because you looked like you were about to kill someone come on Ash be that girl again please."Allexis said.

"Uhhhhh fine I'll go just to make you happy ok." Ash said.

After the paparazzi finish blinding Ash with many question's she finally got through the doors with her mask on and was walking down the stairs while people were wondering who was this girl and what was her name.

Many men looked at her and asked her to dance with them but she said no because she didnt feel like dancing. So Ash just sat down and watched Allexis and Braedan dancing to there heart's content, Ash smiled for the very first time in three years. Ash felt someone looking at her she looked up to see a man who was smiling and looked very familiar but she couldn't think of who it was because his face was hidden behind a green mask with black signs on it.

"Hello miss may i have this dance please if you wouldn't mind."mysterious man said.

Ash liked that he had manners and actually looked like he wanted to be friends.

"Yes i would love to dance with you sir."Ash could see his smile brighten and see Allexis and Braedan looking at her with a smile on there face.

Ash and the mysterious man went to the dance floor and started waltzing to 'saving all my love for you'. Ash was looking at the man while the man was looking at her with very interested eyes.

"Miss will you take your mask off for me to see that beautiful face of you're to see who you are and ill take mine off as well, So will you take off your mask?" The mysterious man said.

Ash decided to take off her mask and was watching him take his off as she was taking off her mask.

When Ash took of her mask and looked up to see the man that broke her heart and thought she would never see again...
